This Nike Dunk Low Is Literally Covered in Grass, And We Can’t Look Away

As we continue our celebration of 85 years of the Dark Knight’s legacy, it’s the perfect time to shine a light on another captivating sneaker design inspired by Batman. Our latest find is another pair that captures the futuristic vibe of Batman Beyond. Dariyn Enriquez, better known as @dope_don_designs on Instagram, has perfectly paired the high-tech world of Terry McGinnis with Nike’s futuristic take on the ’80s hoop shoe, perhaps better known as the Dunk Low Genesis RTFKT. Let’s just say these Batman Beyond x Nike Dunk Low Genesis RTFKT kicks are nothing short of beautiful.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

The design looks exactly like something Terry McGinnis would wear while patrolling Gotham City in 2039. The sneaker is cloaked in dark black, featuring thicker panelling and added plastic accents, transforming the classic Nike Dunk Low into the avant-garde Genesis RTFKT style.

However, Enriquez elevates Nike’s design into ‘Batman Beyond’ status by incorporating striking red details. From the vibrant Swooshes to the red circuitry pattern on the quarter panels and collar and, of course, the bat logo at the forefoot, these subtle yet significant tweaks make a stylish impact.

And let’s not overlook the model’s detachable features on the tongue, adding an extra layer of futuristic flair. This pair seamlessly fits into the high-tech, futuristic aesthetic of Batman Beyond. If only this were an official collaboration with DC Comics, it would undoubtedly be a dream come true for many fans.

How To Grab A Pair Of Batman Beyond x Nike Dunk Low Genesis RTFKT Sneakers

Unfortunately, this incredible concept isn’t a pair available for retail purchase. However, if you already own a pair of RTFKTs in the “Void” colourway, you could transform them into a unique Batman Beyond-inspired creation with Enriquez’s permission. A bit of paint, some red laces, and potentially some custom stitching could bring his vision to life.

That said, reaching out to a custom sneaker artist is always a safer bet, especially if you’re not artistically inclined. Enriquez often collaborates with noted custom sneaker artists like Think Scott Studios (@think.scott) and Strike Collective (@strike_collective_), who help turn his visionary designs into reality. So, make sure to check his Instagram bio for more details.

In the meantime, you can explore some of his other Batman Beyond creations, including the Batman Beyond X Nike SB Dunk Low and Batman Beyond x Jordan 4 concepts. And remember to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more incredible customs and concepts.
