2024 is shaping up to be another stellar year for Marvel enthusiasts with a penchant for sneakers. Not only has Marvel teamed up with Reebok to bring some beloved X-Men ’97 characters to vibrant Reebok sneakers, but they’ve also collaborated with adidas on a thrilling collection celebrating the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie. And as if that wasn’t enough, Marvel Comics has yet another captivating partnership in store, teaming up with KITH and ASICS to spotlight some of their most iconic super villains.
A Closer Look At The Collection
This awesome collection builds on the trio’s previous X-Men collaboration, which celebrated the mutant superheroes’ 60th anniversary. But this year, they’ve switched things up by highlighting the GT-2160, Gel-1130, and GEL-Kayano 14 models from ASICS.
Included in this lineup are some of Marvel’s most notorious antagonists, including Magneto, Silver Surfer, Green Goblin, and Venom. But in an unexpected twist, the collection also includes a pair inspired by the Amazing Spider-Man.
Each design reflects the character’s distinctive colourways, presented in a sleek gradient effect. However, Silver Surfer’s design stands out with a striking grey and iridescent finish that perfectly reflects his cosmic nature.
To top it all off, each pair comes in a special box, complete with a collectable comic book featuring the character that inspired the design. It’s yet another killer collaboration from these three iconic brands.

While Ronnie Fieg, founder of KITH, has remained tight-lipped about the exact release details, rumours have the Marvel Comics x KITH x ASICS “Super Villains” Collection pegged for a debut at San Diego Comic-Con from July 25 to July 28.
