PUMA continues full throttle with its collaboration with Hot Wheels with its latest drop. With its Monster Truck-inspired aesthetic, the PUMA x Hot Wheels collection is designed for kids. The collection offers a high-octane tribute to the heavy-duty pickups, which are almost exclusively designed for entertainment.
With an extensive lineup of collections, the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks range roars into life in collaboration with PUMA. The collection brings a bold and action-packed range of sneakers, apparel and accessories for kids. Transforming the legendary rigs, such as the Mega-Wrex, onto the pieces as a canvas, it coincides with the upcoming Dinos vs. Sharks season.

For the apparel lineup, the collection features pieces including streetwear essentials such as graphic tees, cargo pants, and a crewneck sweater. Each of the pieces features a mix of electrified graphics and relaxed cuts, along with co-branded silicone badges and colour-rich prints, which channel the explosive visuals of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks experience.
As for the sneakers, there are four silhouettes being released globally. However, only two of these make it to the South African shores – the new version of the R78 Lightwind, as well as the track-ready Speedcat. Both of these silhouettes feature the monster truck motifs. The R78 Lightwind features a vivid colour scheme with electrifying details from the Mega-Wrex truck. The Speedcat features a more monochrome aesthetic, designed for race day. Its asphalt-black finish includes insignia, which includes the monster truck logo as well as co-branding on the tongue and heel. Both sneakers will also drop with specially-wrapped packaging for the collectors.

Lastly, there are the accessories, which include a themed backpack. Continuing its electrified aesthetic, it also features teeth inspired by the Mega-Wrex monster truck.
Get geared up and ready to rev those engines with the latest PUMA x Hot Wheels collaboration. The collection is set to launch on August 7, 2025, and will be available online at PUMA.com, in PUMA retail stores, and at Totalsports.
