When it comes to hybrid footwear, Air Force 1 sneaker boots aren’t really anything new. In fact, Nike has used the classic ’80s silhouette as a base for various designs over the years. Still, this cowboy-inspired Nike Air Force 1 sneaker boot is nothing like any we’ve seen before.

Who Created The Air Force 1 Cowboy Sneaker Boot?

This unique design was the brainchild of viral sneaker sensation Andy Martinez (@0831am), a talented designer from Manhattan, New York. With a diverse background in art, Martinez brought a fresh eye to the classic Air Force 1 silhouette by blending it with elements of Milwaukee Dan Post cowboy boots.

A Closer Look At The Design

Honestly, there’s just one fitting way to describe this unique creation: “The Mullet of Footwear.” With the timeless and cherished Air Force 1 sneaker on the bottom and the shaft of a traditional cowboy boot on top, this design is sporty, rugged, and wholly unexpected all at the same time.

And while Andy has plenty of colour options on display on his Instagram page, of course, his vibrant red and white version of his &e Boot would be the one to catch our attention. What can we say? We love a red shoe.

Both the AF1 base and cowboy boot are crafted from shiny red leather, with white accents adorning the Swooshes and midsoles, as well as the ornamental stitching on the shaft. This combination of iconic elements from two different styles, and in this striking colourway too, make it one of the most fun yet beautiful custom pairs out there.

Is The Nike Air Force 1 Cowboy Sneaker Boot Available For Purchase?

Though this particular colourway has yet to hit the &e online store, it’s slated to drop very soon. So, keep an eye on Andy’s social media channels for the latest updates about when and where you’ll be able to grab your pair.

Currently, there’s an all-black version available on his site for $600 USD, so the red and white rendition is likely to be similarly priced.

But while you’re waiting, you can check out some other unconventional footwear creations, such as the BBiMP Bugs Bunny Shoes or the chunky, green Hulk Boots. And don’t forget to stay tuned to Sneaker Fortress for your dose of intriguing and captivating shoe designs.
