Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Dusted Clay”
Now, the sneakerhead community finally has a closer look at these beautiful sneakers. You don’t get a more classic and elegant silhouette than the OG, the Air Jordan 1. It was a brilliant choice for Nike and Jordan Brand to bring this colourway to life on the beloved silhouette.

The sneakers have an earthy colourway that includes tonal shades like Cacao Wow, Sanddrift and Burnt Sunrise; all brought to life on the pair thanks to the panelling of premium suede. Starting on the bottom, we see the beautiful burnt clay colour represented on the outsole, matched by the panelling that makes its way up the back and spine of the sneaker to wrap around the ankle.
The rest of the panelling throughout the mudguard, the lace unit, wrapping around the collar of the sneakers, and even making up the Nike Swoosh logo and the custom hang tag are all a warm chocolatey brown that could only be the afore-mentioned Cacao Wow.
The rubber midsole is a much lighter Sanddrift colour, matching the suede of the perforated toe box and quarter of the sneakers, as well as the shade of the tongue and the laces.
Jordan Brand hasn’t done anything too wild with their branding on this pair, as the Jordan Wings logo on the ankle is debossed into the plush suede but uncoloured, and the embroidered branding on the tongue label matches the Sanddrift shading around it.

The beautiful colourway and textiles employed by this pair of sneakers really speak for themselves.
What We Love About Them
You can’t go wrong with a combination of suede and earthy clay tones. While the tones are relatively muted throughout the sneakers, the terracotta clay colour of the back panels, combined with the warm brown of the rest of the overlay, makes for a gorgeous sneaker.
Despite being made and advertised for women, the colourway doesn’t scream femininity. This makes it an excellent option for the ladies who like a subtle look. Don’t be too surprised if you see men in the sneakerhead community also wearing these sneakers.
