Few can argue that Terry Mcginnis’ Batsuit in Batman Beyond is not a technological and visual masterpiece. The suit, designed by none other than Bruce Wayne himself, makes use of some pretty sophisticated features that we can safely say outperforms any earlier versions of the Dark Knight’s costume. But his armour isn’t just equipped with state-of-the-art gadgets–like retractable wings, a built-in cloaking device and enhanced strength– it’s also one of the coolest and most iconic redesigns of Batman’s costume in the character’s history. And now fans of the vigilante of the future get to rock the striking look on their feet with the Nike Dunk Low x Batman Beyond custom by Dariyn Enriquez @dope_don_designs.

Enriquez has done a pretty great job of recreating the spirit of Batman Beyond. Many of the key aesthetic features of Terry’s batsuit are present, but in a way that doesn’t feel too overwhelming.
The design offers tonal black uppers, laces and midsole with vibrant red accents on the tongue, ankle, outsole and Nike swooshes. However, the lateral and medial Swooshes are done in different styles with the former having a more solid design while the latter boasts a circuitry pattern.
Other details include a red bat logo at the ankle, a graphic of Terry’s utility belt at the toe box, as well as Nike and Batman co-branding on the tongue tags.
