The Sky Brown x Nike SB Zoom Pogo Plus, the signature line belonging to Nike’s youngest ever pro skateboarder, is almost here, and it is not only a gorgeous pair of sneakers but also a celebration of both her own diverse heritage as well as the diversity in skateboarding. Let’s look at this beautiful pair of sneakers because we have no doubt that you want to take advantage of them.
At just ten years old, Sky Brown (now 15) made history by becoming Nike’s youngest pro skateboarder. Of course, the Swoosh brand had to celebrate her incredible talent and achievement with a beautiful signature line of sneakers. The beautiful sneakers are finally ready, have official images, and are gearing up for a launch later this year.
Hailing originally from Miyazaki, Japan, but having been raised in the UK, the Sky Brown x Nike SB Zoom Pogo Plus range celebrates Brown’s unique and beautiful heritage, her flair as a skateboarder, and the beauty of the sport that she champions. Because of this, you will find plenty of stunning Japanese elements peppered tastefully throughout the sneakers.

The colourway released this year is a burst of beautiful shades that is still cohesive, surprisingly wearable and versatile, despite combining colours like Sail, Black, White, Gym Red and even court Purple.
Starting with a thick outsole and midsole combo that is pure White, the sneaker quickly transitions to a flurry of textures and textiles on the upper, including tumbled leather, suede and mesh.
Suede makes up the majority of the beautiful Sail overlays, including the lace unit, the mudguard, and the heel counter. At the same time, White tumbled leather features as the sneaker’s base.
The Nike Swoosh is made of stunning black leather on the lateral and medial sides. The former has floral designs spilling out from the border of the Nike Swoosh logo, symbolising growth, while the latter side is confined within the border.

The sneakers’ tongue labels feature co-branding, with Nike SB and Sky’s signature on one side and a stunning image of a Japanese woman on the other. The inner side swaps to show the opposite image embroidered on Court Purple canvas.
The beautiful insole features a similar theme of being different on either side. The correct insole features a diminutive Nike Swoosh and Sky Brown’s name in Japanese. In contrast, the left side features a black and red portrait that matches the Japanese woman on the tongue tab.
Finally, the spine of the sneakers features the Japanese for Sky’s name split across the two sneakers, reading “Sukai” in black. The sneakers will be sold with two options for laces: white with red aglets and a completely Court Purple option.
