The Air Jordan 11 Low CNY “Year of the Snake” Slithers Into 2025

It's possible that the Air Jordan 11 Low CNY "Year of the Snake" design from next year will be a little underwhelming.

Sneakers from next year’s Chinese New Year collection are slowly starting to surface. We’ve already seen the beautiful Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Year of the Snake” in all its glory, and now the Air Jordan 11 Low CNY “Year of the Snake” has also been leaked. But we’ve got to say, the design is a little underwhelming.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

While we certainly appreciate the simplicity of most AJ11 designs, this was one look that could have used a little more creativity and boldness.

The sneaker is predominantly white, with the colour serving as a clean backdrop to the tumbled leather upper, midsole, and milky semi-translucent outsole beneath. However, a subtle grey snakeskin mudguard wraps around the shoe, providing some contrast and an understated nod to the next year’s Chinese zodiac animal.

Although the design isn’t bad, there is definitely room for improvement, especially considering the 2019 AJ11 Lows already feature a much bolder grey snake skin pattern. Of course, there’s always a slim possibility that more details will be added to the sneaker before it’s formally released. All we can do is wait for official images from Jordan Brand.

Air Jordan 11 Low CNY “Year Of The Snake” Release Details

For those who do want to own this understated snake-themed AJ11, it will be available in Spring 2025, just in time for the new lunar year. The men’s sizes will be available for $190 USD on Nike.com and at select retailers.

For now, keep an eye out for more Air Jordan 11 releases during the holiday season, including the much-anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue” and “Bred Velvet” designs. Until then, stay tuned to Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker releases and reviews.
