We often see beautiful sneakers coming straight from Nike and Jordan Brand inspired by movies that hit theatres at the time. Many collaborations are for films like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Space Jam (obviously), and even film franchises like Terminator. With great new action films on the horizon, what about a more modern pair of sneakers? We love Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper and decided to design a beautiful pair of custom concept Air Jordan 4 “The Beekeeper” sneakers.

As any gorgeous pair of sneakers inspired by bees would, the colourway of these sneakers includes a honey-like yellow, a touch of white, and a beautiful pitch black. Starting from the bottom, the sneakers’ outsole is opaque honey yellow, shiny black rubber, and semi-translucent yellow with specks and bubbles floating in it. The speckles and bubbles bring across the idea of organic honey.

The outer section of “honey” on the outsole is reflected over the white midsole that displays the clear window into the Air unit housed within the sole, allowing the white to shine through its semi-translucent nature and make that part appear brighter.

The rest of the midsole takes on the exact semi-translucent honey-like nature against a black base that allows these sections to display their translucency.

The same semi-translucent TPU appears again on the sneaker’s support wings, the black upper shining through the translucent TPU, allowing the honey yellow to steal the show.

The rest of the upper of the sneakers is blanketed in black. Most of the upper is characterised by shiny black patent leather, making up all overlays across the upper and even the tongue. The mesh cutouts on the front and sides of the sneakers are also shiny black, maintaining the theme. Even the laces and the TPU on the spine of the sneakers making up the heel tab are shiny black, maintaining the stunning theme.

These beautiful, shiny sneakers look like they have been dipped, from tip to heel, in honey and would be a beautiful pair to add to your collection if they were real.

The Beekeeper (2024)

The Beekeeper follows Jason Statham in the role of Adam Clay, a former operative of a powerful organisation known as “Beekeepers”. Throughout the movie, Adam Clay is on a quest for revenge for a good woman who was exploited by a criminal ring that scams her out of money she had been storing for a charity organisation she manages, causing her to take her own life in the aftermath.

The action thriller is loved by critics and audiences alike. It is primarily considered one of Jason Statham’s greatest films these days. If you don’t believe me, the 91% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes should be enough of an indication that you should give the movie a watch. These sneakers would be the perfect pair to watch it in.

Would you wear these custom Air Jordan 4 “The Beekeeper” sneakers if they were real?
