Jordan Brand’s 2025 roster is shaping up to be one for the books. The lineup is already generating considerable buzz among sneakerheads, with an array of hyped retro releases and exclusive collaborations on the cards. Yet, among all these headline acts, the brand’s upcoming Air Jordan “Rare Air” collection offers unique designs that rise above the ordinary Jordan fare.

A Closer Look At The Air Jordan “Rare Air” Collection

So far, four Air Jordan “Rare Air” releases have been confirmed for 2025, each with distinct colourways and design elements. The pack includes an Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, and two Air Jordan 1 High tops, as seen below.

This “Rare Air” edition will boast a stylish mix of Black, Neutral Grey, Deep Royal Blue, and Muslin hues. The unique feature that gives this pair its “rare” title remains a mystery for now. Will it be an innovative flipped branding, a Velcro tongue patch, or something completely unexpected? Only time will tell. But they are currently scheduled for a February 1, 2025 release; prices are set at $180 for men’s sizes, $140 for grade school, $85 for preschool, and $70 for toddlers.

This Jordan 1 colourway is dressed in a Sail, Cinnabar, and Light Bone palette. However, similar to its AJ1 counterpart, this pair’s unique “rare” feature remains undisclosed. So, it’s another pair for which we shall have to wait and see what distinctive element sets it apart from the rest of the Air Jordan 1 collection. However, this pair is earmarked for release on January 18, 2025, priced at $180 USD, and aimed exclusively at women.

Air Jordan 3 “Rare Air”

The Air Jordan 3 “Rare Air” is expected to feature a vibrant palette of Black, Chile Red, Neutral Grey, Military Blue, and Coconut Milk, with a distinctive reversed Nike Air logo on the right shoe. This pair is slated for a release on May 30th and will be priced at $200 USD in men’s sizes.

Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air”

The upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Rare Air” will incorporate. A striking mix of Black, Fire Red, Deep Royal Blue, Dark Smoke Grey, and Tech Grey in its design. Its distinctive feature is the removable tongue patch, unveiling its ‘Rare Air’ credentials underneath. However, 25% of the stock will flaunt Gold lettering for an extra exclusive touch. This pair is set to release on July 26, 2025, priced at $215 USD for men’s sizes.

The Jordan 11 “Rare Air” is anticipated to include premium white leather uppers with Royal Blue patent leather mudguards, a milky semi-translucent outsole, and Fire Red branding. Still, it’s the “Jordan” writing along the eyelets that distinguishes this pair from your average AJ 11 release. Expected these kicks to retail for $230 USD when they launch on October 1, 2025.

Conclusion

Unfortunately, we are still waiting for official images of all these pairs to surface, so be sure to check back for more details. Until then, you can check out more from next year’s lineup here on our site, including collaborations with Swarovski and Union, and the return of the coveted “Shattered Backboard” colourway.
