Some of the rarest and most beautiful sneakers in the world have been those that seem basically unreal and unwearable, like a pair made entirely of glass or jelly, ones made out of pure gold or metal. What if you could have the illusion of a pure metal pair of sneakers that are actually wearable? Say hello to the Rainbow Metallic Air Jordan 1 custom sneakers.
Everyone loves a good ombre effect, and everyone loves a stunning chrome that is so good you can see your reflection in it. What happens when you combine the two? A stunning pair of sneakers that looks almost too good to be true.
These Rainbow Metallic Air Jordan 1 Sneakers have a colour shift that goes from an incredibly light purple to pink before touching on each colour of the rainbow, ending up on the tip of the sneaker with blue. It’s difficult to say what kind of material this incredible designer used for these sneakers. Still, it’s safe to suggest that the pair is almost entirely constructed of patent leather.

The chrome effect transfers onto the midsole, which has been altered in this pair to look like it is ready to have jewels and crystals. At the same time, the tongue’s satin belies the sneakers’ original white colour, as do the white laces.
To say that I had to do some gymnastics to find these sneakers would be putting it lightly. Since the 3rd of July, when @jordansdaily posted these stunning sneakers after seeing them at @sneakercon in Osaka, the person who was initially credited for the crafting of these sneakers, @kevin_sneakers.jp, seemed to have either just changed their profile address or swapped things out completely. Luckily, with enough sleuthing, we found what we hope is the original poster @mertccjsjs (who has kevin_sneakers.jp in their bio). Please let us know if this needs to be corrected in the comments.
Some hunting might help you get your hands on a pair for yourself. Still, suppose you look at the designer’s Instagram page. In that case, there are a plethora of beautiful metallic sneakers to ogle and enjoy, so definitely check them out. If you want to see the pair in person, it might be time to start visiting some sneaker conventions.
