A Closer Look At The Sneaker
For those who may not be familiar with the label, EVISU is a premium jeans brand from Japan known for its top-tier denim garments. And for these stunning sneakers, custom sneaker artist van IJzendoorn repurposed different shades of EVISU denim sourced from various pieces of clothing to craft a unique and eye-catching design.
Much of the Air Max 1’s upper features rich dark wash denim, while the toe box stands out with a lighter wash for a striking contrast. From there, a tiny jeans pocket with EVISU’s logo in pale yellow subtly accents the heel. The side Swooshes seamlessly match this shade, creating a harmonious look. But despite its cohesive design, this shoe isn’t afraid to make bold statements. The inner lining is bathed in burnt orange, while the eyelets and tongue branding are accented with vibrant red. The lace aglets also make a noticeable splash in a vivid blue.
