The Top 12 Best Marvel Sneakers Ever Made (Spider-Man, Wolverine & More)

From superhero-inspired Jordans to comic-book collabs that pop harder than a multiverse cameo, these are the best Marvel sneakers every fan and collector needs on their radar.

Marvel has become a giant of the superhero genre, whether that be in movies, comics, or even sneakers. They’ve teamed up with brands for some pretty magnificent collabs to launch their projects. You’ll of course remember pairs like the Jordan 1 High “Origin Story” and Puma’s mystery Fantastic Four boxes from 2025. But over the years, designers have also been inspired by their love for Marvel’s characters and have created their own sneaky tributes without any need for prompting. Here are some of the best Marvel sneakers over the years, but trust us, there’s plenty more.

Nike Air Max 95 “Human Torch” (2006)

Before superhero-themed sneakers became a regular occurrence in the lineup of major brands, Nike blazed a trail with the “Human Torch” Air Max 95. While this pair has no official ties to Marvel or the Fantastic Four Franchise, every sneakerhead from the early naughties can tell you exactly who they are meant to represent. The Swoosh team didn’t hold back in capturing Johnny Storm’s fiery powers with the gradient mesh and glossy leather uppers. This colourway still brings the heat even by today’s standards.

Translucent sneakers may not seem appealing now, but back in the early 2000s, they were BIG. The Swoosh label used the trend to its advantage and created one of the best Invisible Woman sneakers for Marvel fans. Back then, the design sported a completely translucent forefoot that captured Sue Storm’s powers. Though it certainly looked cool, it didn’t look quite as pretty hours after wearing them without socks (and yes, sneakerheads went ahead and wore them without socks). Nike revised the design in 2025 with white tumbled leather overlays and gradient translucent outsoles. The newer version may not be an icon, but in our books, it’s a more refined take on the concept.

Marvel x Air Jordan 1 Retro High “Spider-Man Origin Story” (2018)

You can never go wrong with a “Chicago” Jordan 1. Even Marvel’s most stylish Spider-Man chose to wear the famous red, black, and white colourway for his solo big screen debut in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Fans also had a chance to grab a reimagined take on the shoe that year. But the Jumpman team added Ben-Day dots on the overlays, blue tongue labels, and frosty transparent outsoles to give the classic colourway a comic-style makeover. Nearly a decade later, and it’s still one of the best Marvel sneakers to release alongside a movie.

Marvel x Bathing Ape Bapesta Collection (2022)

A Bathing Ape has a history of collabs with Marvel. The duo kicked things off in the mid 2000s with Bape Sta sneakers (a cheeky remix of Nike’s AF1 Low) in the colours of popular characters like Hulk, Iron Man and others, while their latest releases in 2025 focused on the heroes and villains of the Fantastic Four Franchise. That said, their 2022 collab had an equally impressive lineup of characters, but dare I say better shades and colour blocking to represent each hero.

Adidas AE 1 “Ant-Man” (2024)

Back in 2024, Art of Sole created this incredible one-of-one design for none other than Anthony “Ant-Man” Edwards. The sneaker artist borrowed details from the tiniest Avenger to take Edwards’ signature shoe from good to great. Think black-dyed uppers, red detailing, and Pym Particle Discs attached to the tongue. Sometimes it’s the small changes that leave the biggest impact.

Reebok x Urban Aztec x Marvel “X-Men” Collection (2024)

Marvel fans got to celebrate the return of the X-Men ’97 animated series in 2024 with two Reebok sneakers designed by Urban Aztec. Up for grabs was a yellow, black and blue “Wolverine” Reebok Classic Leather as well as a brown, black and purple “Gambit” Club C. It was like welcoming back old friends from childhood in style.

Marvel x Adidas “Deadpool & Wolverine” Rivalry Lows (2024)

One of the biggest superhero movies to hit screens in 2024 was without a doubt Deadpool & Wolverine. Records were broken, money was made, and Marvel fans got to see a dream team-up brought to life. It wouldn’t have been right to let the moment slip away without so much as a sneaker to commemorate the occasion. The honour was handed to adidas, and they delivered with two Rivalry Lows (among other styles) that captured the colour schemes, details, and personality of the characters. Deadpool’s pouch even has “All the Pouches!” written on it. Talk about attention to detail.

Kith is the undisputed king of themed collabs. From product to packaging, every aspect is well thought through. Case in point, their 2024 “Supervillains” collab with Marvel and ASICS. Not only did fans get beautifully designed kicks, but a limited edition comic book tucked into a custom graphic box. Some more rare than others, of course.

Air Jordan 4 “Spider-Verse” (2025)

This Jordan 4 concept looks straight out of the Spider-Verse. This knit design was cooked up as a tribute to the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie from 2023. These make us even more excited for the third movie coming in 2027.

PUMA x Abc. x Fantastic Four Mystery Collection (2025)

Mystery boxes were everywhere in 2025 thanks to Labubu’s. Plenty of sneaker brands jumped on the wagon, including PUMA. Fans didn’t get a chance to see the teams’ Fantastic Four collab with Advisory Board Crystals before adding the shoes to their cart. Designs were only revealed in 2026 and included burn-away uppers for Johnny, translucent panels for Sue, cut-away panels for Ben, and glossy leather for Reed. The villain pairs are even more rare. Some have yet to be revealed.

Nike Air Max 95 “Human Torch”

Another big hit from Nike’s unofficial “Fantastic Four” pack was, of course, the Nike Air Max 95 “Human Torch”. The Sergio Lozano-designed silhouette was pure fire, covered in a red-to-yellow gradient inspired by Johnny’s powers. This is a look I’m sure many sneakerheads would like to see return for the reboot of the franchise this year.

Marvel x adidas “Avengers: Age of Ultron” Basketball Collection

Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor took centre stage in this epic collaboration between Marvel and adidas. This is one superhero collection where you don’t have to guess which character each shoe symbolises; the sneakers are bold and unmistakable.
