The Looney Tunes x Nike SB Dunk “Bugs Bunny” Sneakers You Can’t Have

Although Bugs has served as an inspiration for many sneaker designs over the years, these "Bugs Bunny" Nike SB Dunks still need to happen.

When it comes to sneaker designs, especially Nike sneakers, Bugs Bunny is definitely no stranger. Over the years, the iconic Looney Tunes character has served as inspiration for both the renowned “Hare Jordan” collection and even a simple yet playful Nike Air Force 1 design. Still, even with all his appearances, there can never be too many Bugs Bunny-inspired sneakers out there, and this Nike SB Dunk concept by Sneaker Anime (@sneakeranime) could make another great addition to the collection.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

While the sneaker’s design doesn’t overtly reference Bugs Bunny, you can’t help but think of the character munching on a carrot when you see the white, grey, orange and green colour scheme.

The shoe’s base is white leather, with grey canvas overlays and a light pink tongue that brings the bunny to life. From there, Bug’s favourite snack is perfectly referenced by the orange Swooshes and the green heel tabs and laces.

The pair is highlighted with black trim across the overlays and laces to add a cartoonish feel to the design. Finally, a white midsole and grey rubber outsole complete this sneaker homage to one of the most recognisable cartoon characters of all time.

Are The Looney Tunes x Nike SB Dunk “Bugs Bunny” Sneakers Available For Purchase?

Unfortunately, these Looney Tunes-inspired kicks are still in the concept stage, but there is a silver lining. The team at Sneaker Anime are gradually bringing their designs to life, so keep an eye out for future releases. And for those who can’t wait, consider contacting the artist to get permission to have the design custom-made for you.

In the meantime, you can check out more sneaker designs inspired by fan-favourite classic cartoon characters. There are plenty of designs to satisfy your cartoon sneaker cravings, including Daffy Duck-inspired Nike SB Dunks, Air Jordan 1s featuring the adorable Snoopy, and even a “Ninja Turtles” Air Jordan 1. So be sure to follow Sneaker Fortress for more custom and concept sneakers.
