Rarely do the worlds of slip-on footwear and sneakers intersect pretty as they have with the upcoming Nike Jordan Agitator Sandal. The new sandals from the Nike and Jordan brands are a new innovation in slip-on footwear, designed to bridge the gap between sneakers and non-sneaker shoes while providing sneakerheads with a pair of shoes that has both sport and fashion appeal. A few sandals have tried to bridge the gap before, as seen with the Uptempo sandals of the past, but Nike has thrown their hat in the ring, and the result is gorgeous.
Jordan Agitator Sandal
Named the Agitator Sandals because they go against the grain, Nike’s latest offering in slip-on footwear is a gorgeous vision in plush black leather. It elevates the silhouette of simple sandals with stunning Jordan design elements accented with luxurious gold.
It would be a crime not to talk about the genius constructions of these excellent sandals would be a crime. Starting from the bottom, the massive draw to these shoes is definitely owed to the fact that it has borrowed the sole of the Air Jordan 13, with its pod-like bulbs around the forefoot before a little arch for support and continuing on the back of the outsole.
The sole unit is a bit thicker than you might be used to with the standard closed Air Jordan 13, giving the shoes a slight platform feel.

The sandals’ straps are made of plush leather that wraps the foot at two points, offering a secure but breathable fit. They are made up of two fixed sections with buckles and a Velcro strap for a customizable fit.
The upper straps have gold Jordan text debossed on them, perfectly matching the little gold metal Jordan Jumpman logos on the sides that attach the strap that wraps around the ankle to provide a secure fit.
The insole is textured to add a little grip for the wearer’s foot and has a black Jumpman logo inset by the heel to match its surroundings.
Release Date & Price
This is the part of the article where we unfortunately have to admit that there has yet to be a public release date for these sneakers. That being said, due to the footwear being sandals and the presence of official images, it’s pretty much safe to assume that we’ll see these sneakers in the next few months as sneakerheads start gearing their collection towards the warmer months of Summer.

Despite the excellently crafted rubber Air Jordan 13 sole and the premium leather used throughout the sandals’ construction, these shoes will probably retail for $90. While that isn’t the most affordable price for sandals and summer footwear, it’s a bargain for beautiful Jordan footwear.
