If you’re a die-hard fan of the Swoosh label, the sight of the company’s iconic orange box is always bound to stir some excitement – even if it only houses a humble pillow. Ah, but not just any pillow – a Swoosh-shaped one! Yes, you read right. Nike continues to escalate its brand game by introducing a strikingly large pillow in the shape of its famous check to the host of Swoosh-themed merchandise in its repertoire. But don’t be fooled into thinking getting your hand on this plush item is a breeze. Owning this ultimate sleep accessory every sneakerhead dreams of has its share of prerequisites. So, if you are keen to grasp this dream, read on.

Let’s begin with understanding the design of the pillow. A bit of digging reveals that this product is officially dubbed the “Nike Birthday Pillow Gift Box”. There are two colour variants to go for: a bright Nike-orange shade for the colour enthusiasts and a chic dark black variant for lovers of minimalistic aesthetics. These pillows are also impressively large, measuring 19.7″ x 5.1″ in size. While the exact fabric composition remains a mystery, at first glance, they are incredibly soft and plush, which makes them the ideal resting place for dreams of sneakers. And did we mention the “Membership” tag subtly attached to the tail end of the oversized tick? It’s a clear indication that these pillows are reserved strictly for Nike members.

Now that we’ve covered what they look like, I bet you’re eager to know how to get one of these special members-only Nike pillows for yourself. Well, unfortunately, this privilege is currently exclusive to Nike members based in Hong Kong. And there’s even more of a twist. To even qualify for the chance to purchase one, prospective buyers must be in possession of a Nike Birthday Card. On top of that, they’re required to have hit a specific, undisclosed spending threshold. It seems there are quite a few hurdles to leap over to secure these exclusive Nike goodies.

However, if you’re not a fan of hurdles or leaping, there could be another way around it. For instance, you could snap up your Swoosh pillow on resale platforms such as Stock X for a mere bid of $101 USD. Granted, it might seem a steep price for a cushion. But let’s remember, these aren’t ordinary pillows; they are club exclusives. Plus, they are pretty darn cute.

The other option is to cross your fingers and hope that Nike decides to broaden the availability of this unique piece beyond Hong Kong. But as for now, we don’t know when or if that’s likely to happen. Until then, keep your eyes on us for the latest updates about any potential expansions, as well as our relentless stream of sneaker drops and reviews.
