Travis Scott, a renowned figure in the sneaker world, has a long-standing collaboration with Jordan Brand. His ability to hype up fans with upcoming releases, often showcased at major basketball games, is unparalleled. This was evident during Game 2 of the NBA Finals, where Travis Scott was seen cheering courtside for the Jordan-sponsored Boston Celtics, sporting his iconic Jordan Jumpman Jack sneakers. The colourway? A perfect nod to the Celtics’ theme.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

Typically, Travis Scott’s shoes, including his Jumpman Jacks, feature more earthy tones. However, this “Celtics” colourway aligns with the brighter shades the rapper has been experimenting with lately (his “Canary Yellow” AJ1s come to mind).

The “Celtics” colourway boasts a black canvas base complemented by green nubuck overlays, perfectly capturing the Boston Celtics spirit. A lighter green reverse Swoosh logo adorns the sides, while the signature Cactus Jack branding is prominently displayed on the forefoot straps, heels, and tongues of the sneakers.

Completing the design is a black midsole paired with a green outsole, seamlessly tying the entire look together. We do not doubt that this is a style both Celtics fans and sneaker enthusiasts will eagerly want to add to their collections.

Unfortunately, there’s no confirmation of a wider release. In fact, these might just be Player Exclusives (PEs), created exclusively for La Flame. However, stay tuned for any updates on a potential release in the future.

Meanwhile, be sure to check out some of Travis Scott’s other Jumpman Jack releases anticipated for this year, including his “Thunder Blue” and “Dark Mocha” colourways. While you’re at it, don’t forget to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and reviews.
