Few things capture 90s nostalgia quite like the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. If you were a child of that era, you likely spent countless hours glued to the screen, riveted by classics such as Mortal Kombat, TMNT, and, yes, even the notoriously challenging Lion King game. While this retro gaming system is now a treasured relic of yesteryears, the fond memories it forged for millions around the globe happily endure. This very nostalgia inspired us to create the Travis Scott Jordan Jumpman Jack “Super Nintendo” concept as a tribute to this icon of the gaming world.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Inspired by the Super Nintendo’s signature grey colour scheme, this Jumpman Jack design features a range of nostalgic grey tones. Not to mention, the heel showcases colourful circular accents, paying tribute to the console’s iconic buttons, along with a control pad replacing Scott’s usual embroidered symbol on the midfoot strap.
From there, we’ve incorporated black on the canvas base to maintain a modern feel, bringing out that unmistakable Travis Scott vibe. And naturally, we couldn’t wrap up without nodding to the signature Nintendo logo. As such, the vibrant red highlights adorning La Flame’s reverse Swooshes are a fitting tribute.
Finally, a grey rubber outsole completes the retro gaming vibe nicely. But would a black outsole look sharper? Let us know your opinions on the colour in the comments below.
Is The “Super Nintendo” Jordan Jumpman Jack Available For Purchase?
Of course, this stylish homage to ’90s gaming is currently just a concept and not available for purchase. However, considering the rapper’s passion for gaming, there’s always hope for a future collaboration.
