Air Jordan 1 Stash Utility “Prowler”
Originally appearing briefly during the well-loved Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the Air Jordan 1 Stash Utility “Prowler” was thought to be the Jordan Brand’s next release. Still, sneakerheads worldwide couldn’t help but be disappointed that the sneakers wouldn’t be released to the public.
It was announced that the sneakers would be released, but as a limited drop of only 100 physical pairs of sneakers that would be shared exclusively with those at Jordan Brand and the lucky family and friends at Sony Pictures who were a part of the making of the movie.
The Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Prowler Air Jordan sneakers being sent out are named after the character and share the same colour scheme as the character does, with black-on-purple decorating the whole sneaker, from the purple outsole and toe box to the top lace stays that wrap around the heel, with the rest of the sneaker in black.
The side and heel counters are constructed of a dark ripstop with touches of hot pink for the branding and the hardware, bringing in all the colours of the Prowler.
While the sneakers were an exclusive drop, some retailers like SoleSavy did manage to get their hands on a couple of pairs, setting up raffles and treasure hunts around New York City. Still, other than that, getting your hands on a pair of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Prowler Air Jordan sneakers would be a tremendous feat.

Different Prowler Sneakers?
Since it was announced that the general public had little hope of getting their hands on these epic sneakers, there have been other designs floating around social media of sneakers that might be more accessible. One of these pairs is a pair of Nike Air Jordan 1 Beyond the Spider-Verse sneakers seen on media pages like @glitchedgarbage, where you can see a similar but very different pair of sneakers.
These Air Jordan 1s look like a very accurate design to the pair seen in the movie, from the neon pink outsole and laces to the neon purple of the toe box and tongue.
One big difference from the sneakers seen in the film is the Utility Stash feature on the back, which you can clearly see protruding from the heel of the sneakers in the film. The Air Jordan 1 pair has a neon purple strip across the back, clearly made to emulate the zip of the stash bag.
Is this a sneaker that could drop in 2024 for the Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse movie, or is this just a design to keep fans’ hopes up that they can get their hands on in the future? Only time will tell.
