Air Jordan 1 Method of Make “Metallic Silver” Drops in 2025 & No One’s Talking About It

The Air Jordan 1 Method of Make V3 “Metallic Silver” drops in 2025 with a bold new look.

The Air Jordan 1 Low has been Nike’s go-to experiment in recent years. Between 2024 and 2025, the silhouette has gone through more changes than any other. From suede to satin to quilted leather, we’ve seen it all. But now, Nike’s playing dress-up again with the women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 Method of Make “Metallic Silver”, and this one actually deserves your attention.

Most Jordan 1 Lows in the last 18 months have blurred into one endless carousel of pastel and neutral. Are they nice? Sure. But they’re not very memorable. The Method of Make line stands out because it leans into design cues borrowed from luxury handbags. Think less sport, more “I could wear this to a rooftop brunch or around the office and still look flyy.”

The 2025 “Metallic Silver” edition, expected to drop between Summer and Fall, flips the script entirely. It ditches the traditional all-leather build for something far more layered. You get a diamond-knit mesh upper that screams Zoom Vomero 5 and the V2K Run. It’s almost like Nike’s trying to Trojan Horse some performance-tech aesthetic into the Jordan line without anyone noticing.

And can we talk about that massive 3D metallic silver Swoosh on the side? Finally. After the minimalist branding of V1, it’s back and bigger than ever. Also, there’s now a nylon pull tab stitched onto the tongue. All of this makes the Air Jordan 1 Method of Make “Metallic Silver” look futuristic.

All of that said, it’s hard to ignore one very big problem: nobody seems to be talking about these. Scroll through Instagram, X, or even TikTok sneaker accounts, and the buzz just isn’t there. The same thing happened with the previous Method of Make drops. They launched, and nobody seemed to care.

And it probably has to do with timing. The “Metallic Silver” feels like Nike chasing trends that peaked a few months ago. Chunky futuristic runners are very 2023 and 2024. By the time these hit shelves, trends have already moved on.

Still, there’s something undeniably cool about this drop. It doesn’t feel like a Jordan 1 trying to be an OG. It feels like a Jordan 1 that knows it’s a remix.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind picking up the Method of Make “Metallic Silver”. The “Women’s Exclusive” tag won’t discourage me.
