Jordan Brand has brought sneakerheads some pretty iconic collaborations over the years. From Off-White adding their signature deconstructed aesthetic to the brand’s silhouettes, to numerous offerings from Travis Scott dressed up with his famous Cactus Jack Smiley logo and reverse Swoosh branding. Let’s not forget Dior’s simple yet premium version of the Jordan 1 or Kaw’s distinct Jordan 4 design. Still, if there is one collaboration fans of the iconic line need—scratch that—deserve, it has to be a team-up with Burberry on the Air Jordan 13.
Hear me out: an Air Jordan 13 and Burberry collaboration would be the perfect fusion of streetwear and luxury aesthetics–it’s a combo that everyone wants to get their hands on these days. I mean, just imagine Jordan’s chunky, quilted silhouette covered in Burberry’s iconic plaid pattern. Still need some more convincing? Well then, these incredible concept images created by @jordanmyconcepts should win you over.
The concept design features a predominantly leather upper that adopts the signature Burberry beige hue. The brand’s timeless plaid pattern is then incorporated into the design via the side panels. Because we don’t really dig plaid-covered sneakers, we think this is a cool way to incorporate the pattern: a touch of plaid on the sides. We find that to be an effective use of the pattern—not too much and not too loud.

Finally, red accents on the laces, outsole, and branding add a bold contrast against the neutral tones. The colour has even been added to the Jordan 13’s holographic “cat eye”. It’s definitely a different look for the model, but one we’re sure many sneakerheads would gladly indulge in.
While this Air Jordan 13 concept may be simple, it has the makings of a great streetwear staple or, most likely, a highly sought-after collector’s item. Of course, if there were an official collab between the brand’s it would likely set sneakerheads back a pretty penny to own, but it would be so worth it (well, for me, at least).
As far as I know, Nike and the Burb have yet to collaborate on any sneaker design, let alone a Jordan collaboration, but if this is what their love child would look like, then I’ll take a pair, please! Nike, should you pick up on this, please make our sneaker dreams come true and drop a Jordan x Burberry collab soon.
Do you want a Burberry and Air Jordan 13 team-up? Which Jordan model would you want to see collab with Burberry?
