You think you’ve seen every possible Air Jordan 3 colorway by now, right? White Cement, Black Cement, Fire Red? Been there, done that. But the Air Jordan 3 “EYBL” laughs at your sneaker fatigue. This isn’t just another retro with a slightly different shade of grey. This thing looks like it fell out of a paint-splattered galaxy, and that’s exactly why collectors are already losing their minds over it.
Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), which kicked off in 2010, is famous for dropping sneakers you’ll never touch unless you’re a prodigy hooper or willing to sell a kidney on StockX. Some EYBL exclusives have gone for thousands on the resale market, and this new Air Jordan 3 might be the next one to drain wallets. First spotted thanks to reseller Ayden Snkrs, the pair is reportedly for the 2025 EYBL season and, yes, it’s as wild as it sounds.
The upper sticks to a clean white leather base with cream accents. That’s an intentional choice to let the real star of the show shine. The heel and midsole erupt with a marbled purple, red, and white print, similar to the wild tie-dye vibes of the 2023 Kobe 5 Protro and KD 13. That same swirling pattern peeks out from under the translucent outsole, giving it a look that feels more like art than basketball footwear. Violet laces and eyelets add another pop of color, and, in a rare move, the usual Jumpman logo gets swapped for the EYBL branding on the right heel and insole. No elephant print either. Jordan Brand ditched it entirely for smoother paneling, which makes the colors hit even harder.

If you follow EYBL sneakers, the marbled effect might feel familiar. Nike has used similar designs before, like the 2022 Air Jordan 1 Low EYBL, the Nike LeBron 20, and Ja 1 from 2023. But Air Jordans aren’t usually part of the EYBL lineup, which is why this one feels special. It’s practically begging to be hyped.
And hyped it is. Fans flooded Instagram with fire emojis after Ayden Snkrs posted the sample. “Amazing pair,” wrote one commenter. “These are nice,” added another. Considering sneakerheads can be brutally picky, that’s about as close to universal approval as you’ll ever get online.
But don’t expect to see these on retail shelves. Jordan Brand isn’t saying much, but it’s almost guaranteed this colorway will stay exclusive to EYBL players. A few pairs might sneak into the resale market, though, and when they do, expect sky-high prices.
