Reebok and acclaimed sports card producer Panini America have teamed up once more to celebrate another icon in the world of sports. This time, they honour Emmitt Smith, the NFL’s all-time leading rusher, with a limited-edition collection of retro Reebok sneakers inspired by Panini’s coveted Prizm cards.

A Closer Look at the Panini x Reebok Emmitt Smith Collection

The collection features three unique versions of Reebok training shoes: the Preseason 94 Low, Preseason 94, and Emmitt Smith’s iconic ES22. Of course, each sneaker showcases distinct colourways and design elements that mirror the unique styles of the Prizm cards that inspired them.

Preseason 94 Low Purple Prizm

Starting with the Preseason 94 Low Purple Prizm, this shoe incorporates a blend of purple suede and leather, highlighted by white and black details. A standout feature includes the glittering accents on the midfoot and collar, which beautifully reflect the holographic essence of Prizm cards.

Preseason 94

Next up, the Preseason 94 pays tribute to the exclusive Gold Prizm cards with its primarily metallic gold leather upper. Black accents and a distinctive Prizm logo on the heel elevate this luxurious and striking design, making it one visually captivating pair of kicks.

ES22 Color Blast

Last but certainly not least, the ES22 Color Blast reimagines Emmitt Smith’s signature Reebok ES22 training shoe from 1996. While the design features a sleek white patent leather upper, what catches our eye is the multicoloured speckled midsole and matching flecked laces. The design also includes a Colour Blast Vector logo badge, a personalised Colour Blast insole, and a Prizm and Reebok branded translucent outsole, all of which beautifully tie into the Colour Blast theme.

Panini x Reebok Emmitt Smith Collection Release Details

If you’re looking to get your hands on a pair, the Panini x Reebok Emmitt Smith Collection is set for release on 14 June 2024. You can purchase these sneakers through Reebok and select retailers, with prices set at $120 USD for the Preseason 94 Low, $140 USD for the Preseason 94, and $200 USD for the ES22. Every purchase will include a limited-edition Panini x Reebok Prizm Emmitt Smith trading card (of course), showcasing iconic images of Emmitt Smith in action during his playing days in the ’90s and 2000s.

But this isn’t all Reebok has planned this year. Don’t miss their collaboration with Marvel for the X-men ’97 sneakers, or you can learn more about how Reebok is making a noteworthy comeback this year with some noteworthy models.
