Barbie Wears the Reebok Angel Reese 1 Now — Its 11th Colorway in Under a Year

The Barbie pink pair isn't a one-off collab — it's the latest entry in a colorway rollout that hasn't slowed down since the shoe launched last September.

Last year, Mattel teamed up with LeBron James to bring basketball fans (and kids) the Kenbassador doll, which managed to sell out in minutes at retail stores. Now, the toy brand is partnering Angel Reese on a Signature Barbie doll. And guess what? She’ll be wearing a new matching pink Reebok Angel Reese 1 (the shoe’s 11th colorway since it launched last September).

Both the new colorway and the Barbie were revealed together at TOGETHXR House in Chicago during WNBA All-Star Weekend. But it’s already being rushed to stores. The doll is available now for $38 at Target, Walmart, Amazon, and the Mattel Shop. The shoe, however, only arrives August 3, priced at $160 for adults and $130 in big-kid sizing. You’ll be able to purchase it separately at Reebok.com, DICK’S Sporting Goods, and Foot Locker.

It’s becoming more and more difficult to collect every Reebok Angel Reese 1 sneaker. For one, they sell out so fast. But two, because there are so many of them now. But that probably won’t stop fans. They want them all – including the Diamond Dust and the Team USA camp colorway that had fans reacting before official retail details even existed. Depending on how you count restocks, kids’-exclusive sizes, and unofficial nicknames, trackers land anywhere from roughly 8 to 13 colorways — we’re calling it 11. Here’s the full run so far, dates and prices included:

Reebok and Mattel, of course, are trying to pull the demographic that buys dolls and grows up wanting their sneakers to match their favorite toy. So, yes, if you think about it, Reese’s Reebok sneaker deal has become a lifestyle brand instead of just a shoe. And it’s everywhere now: the courts, the runways (remember that Met Gala green pair?), and now, the toy stores. It’s no surprise then that the shoe is the most talked-about product in women’s basketball by a wide margin. Not even Caitlin Clark’s new signature shoe is getting this kind of attention (although it’s still early days for that Nike release).

And what a big win for Reebok that is. Who would have thought that we’d be talking about a Reebok comeback this way in 2026?

Between the colorway rotation, the kids’ line, and now a Barbie box sitting on shelves next to Target’s toy aisle, Angel Reese’s shoe is being built the way legacy signature lines are built: across audiences, with a new reason to talk about it every few months.
