Justin Timberlake’s collection of sneakers is already the stuff of legends, featuring a number of limited-edition Jordans and Nikes. But custom-designed sneakers are par for the course when you’re a global icon like Timberlake. For his ongoing tour, the 43-year-old “Prince of Pop” received an awe-inspiring pair of custom sneakers from Footprint Center(@footprintcntr) and Vick Almighty (@vickalmighty). These stunning custom sneakers beautifully echo the cover art of Justin Timberlake’s recently released album, Everything I Thought It Was.
A Closer Look at Justin Timberlake’s Custom Sneakers Designs
Given Timberlake’s previous collaborations with Nike and Jordan Brand, Vick took on the challenge of designing custom sneakers that could easily be mistaken for official releases. Let’s be honest; the result is completely convincing!
If you haven’t already noticed, the JT Jordan 3 Golf Cleats look like the perfect blend between the “Craft Ivory” and J Balvin 3s. You get elegant “Ivory” tumbled leather on the upper, complemented by the classic elephant print overlays in grey and the semi-translucent finish on the heel tabs, all of which pay homage to the beautiful “Craft Ivory” design released in 2024. Meanwhile, the vibrant sunset-inspired midsole and the warm sandy colour on the collar are reminiscent of Balvin’s 2023 collab. However, there are a couple of unique touches that set these cleats apart: the custom “Justin” branding embroidered on the right shoe’s tongue and the golf spikes on the outsole that resemble tiny orange desert flowers.
At the same time, the Nike Book 1s echo the custom AJ3’s theme. Yet, there are a few minor changes. The uppers boast a subtly creamier hue across their canvas and leather composition (the base design could definitely be the Nike Book 1 “Mirage”). Plus, that mesmerising sunset motif finds a new home on the Nike Swooshes rather than the midsole. This pair also features “Forget Tomorrow” stitched onto the tongues, seamlessly connecting them to Justin Timberlake’s current world tour.
Despite their similarity to the Craft Ivory and J Balvin AJ3 designs, the sneaker artist evidently found inspiration in JT’s Everything I Thought It Was album cover. Once you’ve glimpsed the artwork, the Arizona sunset motifs and desert tones become unmistakably evident in these sneakers. These custom kicks are truly stunning, making us wish we could snag a pair for ourselves.
Are These Sneakers Up for Grabs?
These one-of-a-kind sneakers were specially made for Justin Timberlake to celebrate his Phoenix stop on the “Forget Tomorrow” tour. Unfortunately, they aren’t available for purchase. But if you want to sink your feet into a similar pair, you can contact Vick Almighty to discuss designing your own customs.
