2025 is shaping up to be a year of major celebrations for Jordan Brand. Not only is Michael Jordan’s iconic first signature shoe turning the big 4-0, but it also marks the 35th anniversary of the fan-favourite Air Jordan 5. To commemorate these milestones, sneakerheads are in for a treat with a slew of exciting collaborations and in-line releases. Among these gems is the promising Air Jordan 5 Retro “Earth.

A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Earth”

Air Jordan 5 Retro “Earth”

When a cherished model in the Air Jordan line hits a significant milestone, Jordan Brand doesn’t hold back on special releases. And this particular drop is a delightful dedication to the ladies.

Specific details on the colour blocking remain under wraps, but early mock-up visuals hinge on an official colour listing featuring “Earth,” “Metallic Gold,” “Sail,” and “Muslin.” This suggests a stunning neutral palette that sneaker enthusiasts across the board are likely to appreciate. And yes, some men may be envious, but hopefully, they can find a fit in the women’s sizes.

The upper is expected to be draped in rich brown suede, lining up with the shoe’s “Earth” moniker. Meanwhile, “Metallic Gold” accents promise to provide a touch of extra luxury.

All the model’s iconic features are anticipated to appear, including the signature shark teeth design on the lateral forefoot, the side netting, and the Visible Air unit in the heel. Further details include the Jumpman logos on the rear, sock liner, padded tongue, and classic lace lock.

To round off the design, a “Sail” midsole paired with a semi-translucent “Muslin” rubber outsole will perfectly balance both durability and style.

Although the images provided are speculative, the colour scheme alone suggests the Air Jordan 5 “Earth” will likely be a standout addition to the AJ 5’s 35th anniversary celebrations. And this isn’t the only thrilling release Jordan Brand has in store for this special occasion.
