De’Aaron Fox might be one of the fastest guards in the league, but it looks like his sneaker game is trying to keep up. Just seven months after the Curry Fox 1 hit shelves, we’re already staring down the barrel of his second signature sneaker: the Curry Fox 2. No rest for sneaker collectors, right?
Fox, who became the first non-Steph player to sign a signature sneaker deal with Curry Brand back in October 2023, debuted the new kicks courtside during the Spurs’ Summer League game in Las Vegas. No dramatic walkouts or smoke machines, just Fox sitting calmly on the sidelines with a teal pair of sneakers quietly stealing the spotlight.
And yeah, we get it—some fans are already skeptical. Instagram didn’t hold back:
“Did the Ones even drop? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pair in person lol.”
“Way too soon for a second shoe…”
“Looks like copy and paste.”

To be fair, at first glance, the Curry Fox 2 doesn’t scream evolution. The low-top silhouette returns, the forefoot strap is still very much a thing, and the outsole tooling looks a lot like what we’ve seen on the Curry Series 7. But there are differences if you’re paying attention.
This time around, the Fox 2 gets a more defined heel counter with sharp wave-like details, giving the shoe a slightly more aggressive stance. The strap, which once resembled a fox tail, is now sharper and angled. You’ll also notice the Curry Brand logo embossed on the TPU heel and “Curry” stitched onto the suede tongue. And yes, De’Aaron’s own logo still holds its place of honor, right in the middle of that strap.
So, while it might not be a revolutionary redesign, it’s clearly not just a lazy retread either.

We still don’t know when the Fox 2 is dropping. Curry Brand hasn’t announced anything official. No campaign shots, no tech specs, no pricing, not even a hype video. But we do know this: both Fox and Steph Curry will be traveling the world this month for the Curry Brand 2025 World Tour. And you better believe that means more sneak peeks and eventually, some actual release info.
