Every Official Usher & Jordan Sneaker Collaboration

Watching Usher’s electrifying show at the Super Bowl instantly brought our focus to one thing: those remarkable Air Jordan 4 Chrome PE sneakers that The Shoe Surgeon customised for him. However, these kicks, with their silver and blue theme perfectly matching Usher’s ensemble, served to remind us of former PE pairs that Usher had created with the renowned Jordan Brand. Naturally, this prompted us to take a trip down sneaker memory lane and reflect on the full official collaborative history between these iconic names. From the iconic Air Jordan 3 “Gold” PE to the sleek Air Jordan 11, let’s reminisce about every incredible Usher and Jordan sneaker collaboration in existence.

  • 1. Air Jordan 3 “Gold” PE
  • 2. Air Jordan 9 “Gold” PE
  • 3. Air Jordan 11 “Gold” PE

1. Air Jordan 3 “Gold” PE

 Usher and Jordan Collaboration

First off, we have the exquisite ‘Air Jordan 3 Gold PE’, a fully metallic gold sneaker creation explicitly designed for Usher. These beauties were showcased in his Honey Nut Cheerios commercial, where Usher uses dance to communicate with the mascot, Buzz (because, you know, bees communicate through dance). The entire shoe is painted with luxury, with even the elephant print detail replaced with golden textured leather. As a unique finishing touch, three gold stars are embroidered on each tongue. As you can imagine, these kicks are hard to come by. Only ten pairs of this incredible style are believed to exist, making them a unique golden AJ3.

2. Air Jordan 9 “Gold” PE

 Usher and Jordan Collaboration

Much like its predecessor, the ‘Air Jordan 9 Gold PE’ is a golden masterpiece. Usher made sure to highlight these glittering sneakers during season 6 of The Voice, captivating the audience with his golden footwork. Although, in all fairness, we’d probably do the same if we owned a pair of these gems or if we had the ability to bust a move like the 90s heartthrob. The golden hue coats the entire shoe, making it a striking piece that can’t be overlooked. However, a black inner lining adds a sleek contrast, creating a balance in design. The tongue also sports embroidered stars like the AJ3, and a translucent sole completes the look. When looking at Usher’s collaborations with Jordan, it’s clear that his sneakers have a distinct theme. Plus, with only ten pairs believed to exist, these sneakers are indeed a rare find.

3. Air Jordan 11 “Gold” PE

Finally, our journey down sneaker memory lane comes to a truly stunning piece in the sneaker world – the Air Jordan 11 “Gold. One of only ten pairs worldwide, Usher proudly sported these during the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Festival, taking place at the famous MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Usher put on a stunning show with numerous costume changes. One of these notably included a pair of gleaming gold Air Jordan 11s. These sneakers were a sight to behold with their lush, gold leather coating. The gold theme even extends to the laces, the midsole, and the Jumpman logo on the heel, making for a truly luxurious impression. It’s just the kind of elegance we’ve come to expect from this legendary artist and his renowned sneaker collaborations with Jordan.

While getting your hands on any of these pairs would be a Herculean task with an equally daunting price tag, they are undoubtedly a collector’s dream. However, with the spotlight sharply back on Usher and Jordan, thanks to those custom Super Bowl kicks, we’re keeping our fingers firmly crossed for another collaboration soon. Hopefully, this time, it will be a pair we can all get our hands on.

What’s your opinion on these golden treasures? Would you like to see another official Usher and Jordan sneaker collaboration?
