Andrew (@andu.c) has shared his unique Goku-inspired sneakers for National Goku Day: one pair of Nike Air Jordan 1 Low inspired by Super Saiya Jin 1 and another pair of Air Jordan 3s inspired by Super Saiya Jin 3. Interested? Keep reading!

Goku-Inspired Nike Air Jordan 3

These epic custom Air Jordan 3 sneakers embody Goku’s Super Saiya Jin 3 form, from top to bottom.

Starting from the top, the sock liner and the collar of the customised Air Jordan 3s, leading into the tongue and the lace stays, all have the bright yellow that characterises the form of the Super Saiya Jin 3. In contrast, the heel has the yellow of Goku’s signature tail. The tumbled leather panelling of the upper and lower midsole is a pink-toned tan that matches Goku’s skin tone. The mudguard, heel counter, outsole and a horizontal stripe that wraps around the front bit of the sneaker share the bright orange of Goku’s outfit in his Super Saiya Jin 3 form. The upper-midsole and the panelling below the orange stripe, as well as the inner side of the tongue label and the signature Jumpman logo, are all the deep blue of the accents of Goku’s outfit, like his belt, his shoes, his undershirt, etc.

Many fans couldn’t help but point out the tiny details, like the Goku kanji that adorns the back by the heel in red and the electric power swirling around the Jumpman logo that usually surrounds Goku when he goes Super Saiyan.

And that’s just the first pair of sneakers.

These awe-inspiring custom Nike Dunk Lows were designed to bring the look of Goku’s Super Saiya Jin 1 form to your feet.

Again, we see the sock lining, the laces, the lace stays, and the Nike Swoosh embody Goky’s hair, still yellow but significantly less prominent than in his SSJ3 form. The heel counter, the toe box, and the lower lace stays bring the orange of his signature outfit to life. In contrast, the mudguard and the rest of the upper panelling represent the deep blue accents of his outfit. The pink-toned tan is represented on both the tongue of the sneakers and the prominent midsole. At the same time, the outsole is once again the orange of the majority of Goku’s outfits.

Of course, we love the tiny details, and we can see that the kanji for Goku appears again, this time in black and white on the orange panel for the lace stays.

With options from Super Mario Bros. to Pokémon, if you are a massive fan of a game or anime, rest assured that you can find a pair inspired by what you love.
