Jordan Brand plans to release several denim-inspired sneakers in 2025, creating a sort of “denim collection” for sneakerheads to look forward to. Included in the mix is the Air Jordan 1 Low “Worn Blue”, which offers a distinctive take on the classic denim sneaker style.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Yes, there have been several Air Jordan 1 colourways with denim touches over the years. However, unlike the more customary full denim looks or denim-accented overlays we’ve seen, this pair offers pale blue denim on the base of the shoe for an unexpected spin on things.
The overlays are then dressed in contrasting white leather with matching canvas on the tongue, while the branding features on the tongue and heel are sewn with light blue thread that perfectly complements the shoe’s denim base. Finally, the sneaker is finished with a sail midsole and gum rubber outsole below.
More intriguing than the sneaker itself are the subtle features that tie all of the upcoming denim releases together. To start off, both Jordan 1 models have “J” charms attached to the laces, whilst the Air Jordan 4 model has gold lace dubraes that read “Jordan” “Family”. Additionally, all three sneakers are expected to arrive in denim-inspired packaging that ties the theme together.
