PUMA went all out with the LaMelo range over the last few years. We’ve seen the sneakers show up in all sorts of colorways and unique collabs with some popular characters and brands, including the TMNT, Fast and the Furious, Scooby-Doo and, even Dexter’s Laboratory. And they’re not about to stop showing LaMelo Ball’s signature sneakers love.
During a postseason game against the Miami Heat, the Charlotte Hornets guard ended the game with a clutch lay-up that surprised everyone. They noticed the shot. But they also noticed his new sneakers: the PUMA MB.05 Lo… in slimy green.

The PUMA LaMelo range has always been about bright colors and cartoon-like designs. The slimy green the PUMA MB.05 Lo Flourish is more of that playful design. It’s the type of sneaker that’s meant to stand out on a busy street. Heck, it might look like something an alien would wear on another planet. And maybe that’s the point – as you can see from the text on the tongue that reads “Not From Here”.
Of course the PUMA MB.05 Lo isn’t just a smaller, less bulky version of the main model. For starters, the upper comes layered with a textured, almost tattoo-like finish, wrapped in mesh that spills over into the forefoot. There’s also that extended lace shroud, which gives the shoe a slightly aggressive edge.

In terms of performance, things are pretty much the same, too. The lightweight cushioning is there. So is the traction. Oh, and the promise that 20% of the upper uses recycled materials. That’s cool.
The PUMA MB.05 Lo Flourish colourway releases on May 15th on PUMA’s official site and select retailers. There’s also a wider Summer 2026 rollout planned.
