As a long-time ambassador for adidas, Lionel Messi has racked up a number of successful collaborations on the Samba silhouette. His most recent edition comes in a “Cream White” colourway, offering his fans a clean and refined spin on the 40s soccer silhouette.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
There’s certainly nothing overly flashy about the soccer star’s new colourway. The uppers are a vintage-esque blend of “Cream White” leather with “Light Brown” suede and leather details appearing on the toe, three stripes, and heel, respectively. Nevertheless, the branding details do their bit to elevate the overall design. Messi’s logo appears first on the tongue in gold and then again debossed onto the ankle. The finishing details include the player’s last name debossed where the Samba lettering would typically be, plus a milky semi-translucent sole underneath.
The design is subtle, yes, but so are many of the finest sneakers out there. Like every other neutral samba colourway, these will undoubtedly sell fast, especially since Messi’s name is on it.

The “Cream White” Samba will be available from adidas.com as well as select retailers starting in spring 2025. The sneaker will be priced at $100 USD for men’s sizes.
