You’ve probably never seen a McDonald’s without golden arches. But it exists. In Arizona, there’s one with a turquoise logo. And now, thanks to Devin Booker, it’s also officially a $155 sneaker: The McDonald’s x Nike Book 2 “Sedona”.
See, in Sedona, Arizona, city regulations ban signage colors that clash with the landscape. That meant that McDonald’s wasn’t able to use their signature yellow color and was forced to swap it out for turquoise. It’s the only one in the world with that unique color.
Devin Booker spent years training near Flagstaff during the offseason, and Arizona’s high country became part of his routine. “Living the fast-paced lifestyle we do, having time to sit back and get away and reflect. That’s the perfect place for me,” Booker said about Sedona. Nike, of course, thought the storytelling was perfect for the sneaker.
Thankfully, the McDonald’s x Nike Book 2 “Sedona” doesn’t carry the goofy fries and burger branding we’ve seen in plenty of customs over the years. It’s not a Happy Meal shaped like a sneaker either. Instead, the designers decided to keep its look simple and clean. Earthy sand tones cover the upper while cracked textures mirror Sedona’s terrain. The turquoise from the arches appears on the Swoosh, liner, outsole, and the small McDonald’s logos placed on the heel and tongue.
The tongue hides a small detail you can only see up close: an arrow above the word “drive-thru.” And that’s probably the only cheesy detail of the shoe.
The McDonald’s x Nike Book 2 “Sedona”, the second major partner tied to Booker’s signature line after the Chevrolet Book 1 collaboration, arrives in stores and SNKRS on June 2, 2026, for $155.
