As most people have undoubtedly heard, Nike and former Bape CEO Nigo have collaborated to introduce fans to a brand-new project featuring the Air Force 3 Low silhouette. This eagerly anticipated release has become one of the year’s most talked-about sneaker collaborations, thanks to its anime-inspired press release and “out of the box” aesthetics.

A Closer Look At The Designs

The collection features two colourways of the Air Force 3 Low: a “Blue Void” pair and a “Multi-Color” iteration, which is said to be inspired by 1980s anime.

Both pairs have a mix of red, green, yellow, and pink tones on the upper and use various materials, with a strong emphasis on patent leather, particularly on the “Blue Void” pair.

The sneakers also have anime-inspired branding on the tongue and matching packaging that pays homage to the retro aesthetic of the time.

These shoes belong in your collection if you were an anime enthusiast from the 80s or an OG fan of the Nike Air Force 3, which was also originally around in the ’80s.

NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Release Details

The entire collection (including accompanying apparel) will be available online at Human Made and in-store at Otsumi Plaza. The global release date is October 4, 2024, and it will be available through Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for more exciting Nike releases coming soon. Don’t miss out on the Nike Dunk Hi “Wu-Tang,” Nike Air Foamposite One “Metallic Copper,” and Nike Kobe 5 “X-Ray,” which will be released in the coming weeks. Until then, stay tuned to Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and reviews.
