What do you get when you cross the classic Nike Dunk Low with the vibrant greenery of a golf course? While this may sound like the beginning of a terrible dad joke, it’s actually the making of a really cool custom sneaker design by @tagzfootwear. The talented custom sneaker artist has combined the iconic style of the Dunk Low with the vibrant green grass of a golf course to bring us the Nike Dunk Low “Golf”. And this time, when I say combine, I do mean quite literally.

A Custom Dunk Low Like No Other

The sneaker showcases a well-thought-out design that features an upper composed of a realistic grass-like material spiced up with tiny faux grass clusters and a texture that captures the feel of putting green. The base takes on a more kempt appearance, as though it has been freshly mowed. However, the overlays showcase a longer and thicker grass-like material, creating a contrast between the neatly trimmed sections and the wilder, untamed areas. Even the insole swims in this sea of faux grass, consolidating the overall theme of the design.

The Golf-Inspired Details That Make It Special

The renowned Nike Swoosh stands out brilliantly, adorned with a metallic silver texture, as though it were cut from a gleaming patent leather material. To top it off, the midsole and the laces are clothed in a sharp white tone that mirrors the colour of the golf ball, while the outsole sports a charming brown earthy hue.

The design also incorporates golf-inspired details such as miniature golf flags embroidered on the rear of the sneaker’s lateral side and a custom Tagz Footwear label with the words “Always on Par” displayed humbly at the bottom. Further branding details include the Tagz logo on the heel, stylishly embroidered in silver thread.

All elements considered; the Nike Dunk Low “Golf” offers a refreshingly stylish interpretation of the classic golf shoe. This sneaker exhibits subtle complexities in design that we can’t help but appreciate. From the unique golf-inspired details to the sleek branding, every aspect of the sneaker showcases meticulous attention to detail. It is safe to say that Tagz Footwear has scored a perfect hole-in-one with this inventive design, harmonising sport and fashion to a “tee.”

Why Sneaker Customisation Is Having a Massive Moment in 2026

Custom sneaker culture has never been more mainstream. In 2026, the global sneaker customisation market is booming, with platforms like Instagram and TikTok turning one-of-one creations into viral moments overnight. Nike itself has leaned into the trend — its Nike By You platform continues to grow, and collaborations with custom artists are increasingly finding their way into official retail channels.

Golf culture is also experiencing a streetwear crossover moment, driven by younger players rejecting traditional golf aesthetics in favour of bold, expressive footwear. The Nike Dunk Low “Golf” by Tagz Footwear sits perfectly at that intersection — arriving exactly when both worlds are hungry for something different.

How to Get Your Own Pair

If you are interested in putting the greens in a pair of these unique Nike Dunk Low “Golf” kicks, you can simply direct message Tagz Footwear on their social media platforms. Alternatively, you can check out their website to see the designs available for purchase. They currently have a pair of custom Freddy Krueger Air Force 1’s and Chucky Air Force 1’s perfect for the upcoming Halloween season. Prices on their website range from $300 USD to $1 250 USD, depending on the design. They are also open to creating one-of-one creations and offer custom sneaker classes, so do be sure to check them out! Until then, remember to follow us for more sneaker customs and concepts.
