Their latest stunning addition is their Air Jordan 23 PE sneakers for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Shining a spotlight on the distinctive team colours of the Sooners, Nike has just dropped a team-themed colourway exclusively for their players, showing their support of the team and embracing the university’s rich heritage.
The sneaker has a stunning thematic colourway, combining stark white with black and a stunning true red. Starting from the bottom, white makes the first appearance as the outsole, complemented by a beautiful shiny midsole with folds and geometric designs, adding an indispensable level of detail to the sneakers.

The upper is mainly shared between red and white with some sparse black accents, dominated by the swath of red suede that covers both side panels. The lateral side panel is embossed with Oklahoma University’s “OU” logo. In contrast, the medial panel has a stunning quilted and stitched design.

The mudguard is a perimeter of textured patent leather that perfectly transitions to the patent leather that works its way up from the toe box onto the tongue. The entire piece is perforated with punctures in a geometric design. The tongue label maintains the shiny patent leather look, with a red “OU” logo embossed in red shiny leather, standing out beautifully from the white patent leather surrounding it. The laces are, of course, white to match the tongue.
The inner lining of the sneaker is a beautiful black woven textile that crests over the edge to spill onto the collar of the sneakers. The inner lining of the tongue is also black, embroidered with the words “Boomer” on the left and “Sooner” on the right, echoing one of the Oklahoma Sooners’ favourite chants.
Not only does this pair of Air Jordan 23 PE sneakers exude Oklahoma University school spirit, but it also provides their team with custom sneakers that reflect their team identity and let them represent their school with pride.

Release Date and Price
While these sneakers are undoubtedly beautiful, and anyone would be lucky to have them in their collection, the fact that they are Player Exclusives says it all. To keep the exclusivity of the sneakers intact, they won’t ever be released on the public market.
This is a bit of a double-edged sword, keeping fans of the sneakers wanting but also making the OU team members feel special so we can understand the reasoning behind it. One thing is for sure, though. If these sneakers appear on the second-hand or auction market, they will be nabbed in minutes.
