Netflix’s Stranger Things is done. It ended with a finale on December 31, 2025. Except it’s not. Far from it, actually. There’s an upcoming animated spin-off for fans to look forward to in 2026. Plus, there are rumors and theories of a missing episode set to release, too. But probably one of the biggest surprises this year so far has to be the Stranger Things x Nike Air Foamposite One, a fiery sneaker that’s said to be inspired by Vecna and the Upside Down. Yes, Nike just proved that Stranger Things is far from over.
If you’ve seen or worn Air Foamposite sneakers before, you are probably aware of its unique design and some of its most popular colorways. The Stranger Things x Nike Air Foamposite One is another standout in the line-up. The molded shell fades from black into bright crimson, cracked with lightning bolts that look straight out of Hawkins during Season 5. The color story pulls straight from Vecna’s red-soaked world, unlike the ’80s bike-riding nostalgia of the earlier Nike collabs. Nope, this one is very red and in your face. It’s the kind of sneaker you can spot from across the road.

But it’s the secret details that make it so special. Both Penny Hardaway logos appear flipped on the tongue and heel, a simple move that sells the mirror-world idea of the theme. Inside, Vecna artwork sits on the insoles, and around the back, Nike has hidden a message stamped on the pull tabs. It reads “Found You”. Words spoken by Vecna in the final season. Underfoot, a translucent red rubber outsole finishes the look, glowing just enough to feel wrong in low light. According to reports, some pairs even feature glow-in-the-dark elements. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s true.
Nike worked pretty hard on the presentation, too. The sneakers arrive in blacked-out packaging inspired by ’80s Nike boxes, plus a set of Stranger Things pins to go with it.

The Foamposite One debuted nearly 30 years ago in 1997. Stranger Things premiered in 2015 and became one of Netflix’s biggest shows ever. Pairing the series finale with one of Nike’s oldest and best silhouettes seems to be a perfect fit.
The Stranger Things x Nike Air Foamposite One drops February 13, 2026, via Nike.com, SNKRS, and select retailers for $250. Style code IR7336-001. If you’re a fan of the show or Foams, in general, this one is made especially for you.
