If there is one name that is widely known in the custom sneaker world, it is undoubtedly The Surgeon. Known for having worked with Nike itself and for creating some of the most exclusive and expensive sneakers in the world, The Surgeon also takes the time to make custom sneakers for their fantastic audience every now and again. One of their recent customs has caught the eye of many, the Pinkberry Bandana Nike Dunk Low Custom sneakers.

The Surgeon has always been incredibly clever when naming their sneakers, so you will quickly see where this one gets its moniker from. These sneakers have a touch of femininity without overpowering and still look like sneakers anybody could wear. Without further ado, let’s take a detailed look, shall we?

Starting from the bottom, we see a true gum outsole that has never worked so perfectly on a pair of sneakers. It perfectly complements the stark white midsole, partially bisected by the matching gum-coloured stitching that wraps around it.

From there, the sneaker is a stunning pink paisley bandana-like material from the mudguard to the lace stays and wrapping around the heel. It’s no wonder it is bandana-esque because The Surgeon shared that it is made of vintage pink bandana.

We see a peak of some premium brown nubuck from the ankle area with The Surgeon’s skull monogram printed all over. Their Instagram post revealed that the vintage pink bandana can be distressed to reveal more of the same premium brown nubuck with skull print all over the sneaker. Not only do you get a stunning pair of premium sneakers, but they also have a tear-away function so that your sneakers can be one of a kind, depending on how you distress them.

The inner panelling of the mid-foot upper is crafted from a pink Burberry shirt. Hence the sneakers earned their very clever name, “Pinkberry Bandana”.

Plain premium brown nubuck can be seen making up the toe box and moving all the way up the tongue, as well as acting as a lace holder on the tongue. Still, this section of the sneakers does not include The Surgeon’s iconic skull logo.

The tongue and the inner lining are made up of deep brown leather that looks incredibly comfortable, and the heel counter is also dark brown with the pink SRGN monogram as a label.

Lastly, we see a little light and dark complementing each other, with white rope laces and a stark juxtaposition with a pitch-black Nike Swoosh logo.

If you love these sneakers and want to get your own, or want a chance at getting your own custom sneakers from The Surgeon, keep an eye out on their Instagram account. Every now and again, they announce that they have opened their commissions for a limited time. If you play your cards right, you could be one of a few lucky sneakerheads with your own pair of custom sneakers from the doctor himself.

Would you buy these stunning Pinkberry Bandana Nike Dunk Low sneakers?
