It’s been a relatively busy month of August for PUMA. With several collabs under its belt, such as the PUMA x Hot Wheels drop, as well as a few in-house releases, like the PUMA Inhale, there’s plenty of choice for PUMA fans. The range continues to grow, with its new drop paying homage to the fastest nation in the world. A re-release from the early 2000s, the PUMA H-Street is reimagined in Jamaican flair for the modern sneakerhead.
The PUMA H-Street launch is a special-edition drop, featuring two Jamaican-inspired colourways as a tribute to the Caribbean nation and its prowess and global recognition for its track and field legacy, especially at the Olympic level.

The vibrant colours of that constitue the Jamaican flag, in black, yellow and green, are featured heavily in the collection. This ties back to the 2003 launch campaign for the sneaker, in which the PUMA team partnered with the Jamaican national track and field team of the day. The visuals of the campaign showcased the bright and beautiful Jamaican culture, style, and sports heritage, which is at the centre of the new lineup of the two H-Street silhouettes as they return in 2025.

This limited-edition PUMA H-Street sneaker carries the story of a small country which has achieved its status at the top of the track meets, celebrating the speed, power and distinctive style of the island nation.
Designed for the track, the H-Street was adapted from PUMA’s archival running spike silhouette. As a result, the silhouette is a lightweight and minimalist sneaker, tracing its roots to the late-90s Harambee. Despite its minimalist style, it’s still bold and stylishly distinctive. It features a breathable mesh upper, a nostalgic T-shape toe box, and a track-inspired outsole tread.

The release of the PUMA H-Street coincided with the Notting Hill Carnival in London. This is the city’s iconic celebration of Caribbean culture, and one of the largest street festivals in all of Europe. Its release campaign featured community-focused activations which start this past weekend, initiated as a vibrant presence at the festival and beyond. PUMA has partnered with various artists as part of its initiatives to support local grassroots creatives, while continuing the celebration of Caribbean heritage through its music.
Be inspired by the speed of the track and the boldness of the Jamaican-inspired colour scheme on the throwback PUMA H-Street. The collection is available online at PUMA.com, in PUMA retail stores, and through partners including Archive and Al Capone.
