Jordan Brand has a habit of making the Air Jordan 11 the main event every holiday season, but this year’s “Grand Finale” feels more like a half-hearted encore than a standing ovation. Yes, the sneaker looks clean. Yes, it comes with a shiny little pearl charm. But is that really enough to justify calling it a “Grand Finale”? Or is Jordan Brand just digging around in the accessory drawer at this point?
We’ve known about this women’s-exclusive drop for months, and now, thanks to JD Sports, we’ve finally got the most detailed look yet. What you’re getting here is a Sail/Pearl Gray/White/Metallic Silver colorway, a soft off-white upper, and ribbon laces that add a slightly dressier touch. The patent leather overlay is still here, this time in a subtle gray shade, and the shoe swaps the usual mesh build for leather with actual eyelets. It’s a solid package, but the star of the show is the removable pearlescent charm dangling off the side.

The charm trend isn’t new, though. Nike and Jordan Brand have been sprinkling them on recent releases like the Valentine’s Day Air Jordan 3s, which had a heart-shaped one, and some Air Force 1s got bedazzled with gold. Sneakerheads often buy charms separately to personalize their pairs, so Jordan throwing one in the box saves you a little shopping. Still, is a charm really the big design twist we’re supposed to get hyped about here?
On paper, it works. The Jordan 11 doesn’t need much to sell. It never did. It’s one of Michael Jordan’s most iconic sneakers. He debuted it during the Bulls’ legendary 72-win season in 1995–96. Its history alone makes it a guaranteed hit every December. But if we’re being honest, slapping a pearl charm on a sneaker that already breaks sales records every year feels like the laziest move possible.

The sneaker itself is undeniably clean. Retailer images show off the crisp white leather, the shiny mudguard, chrome Jumpman logos on the heel, and translucent outsoles. The package even comes with extra ribbon laces for anyone who wants to switch things up. Fans online already seem sold—one person on X wrote, “Finna cop those, fresh kicks gonna be fire,” while another admitted, “I’m not stepping on no grass on those.” Fair. Nobody’s mowing the lawn in $230 sneakers.
Speaking of price, the women’s Air Jordan 11 “Grand Finale” will release on November 11, 2025 (Singles’ Day), retailing for $230 in women’s sizing, $100 for PS, and $85 for TD. That’s not all Jordan has lined up for the holiday run. Expect a full slate of AJ11s this year, including the long-awaited reissue of the Gamma Blue from 2013, a new Rare Air edition, and even a kid’s glow-in-the-dark version near Halloween.
