With the Powerpuff Girls Nike SB Dunk Low release setting the sneaker world alight, everyone seems to have one question: “Will we be treated to a release of Mojo Jojo Nike SB Dunks as well?”

Well, if rumours are anything to go by, there is definitely a possibility that we will see a Mojo Jojo x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration in the future.

For a while now, speculation has been rife about a fourth character-themed SB Dunk Low sneaker joining the Powerpuff Girls collection, with the villainous but delightful Mojo Jojo believed to be stepping into that role. It’s no surprise, really; his popularity among fans is undeniable.

Both the Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB Dunk Low packaging and the sneaker itself sport nods to Mojo Jojo, which has only added fuel to the rumours. But, with all that said, have you actually pictured what a Mojo Jojo inspired SB Dunks could look like?

Well, we’ve rounded up a few of the best speculative mockups and concept designs that’ve surfaced online to paint a better picture.

The Mojo Jojo Nike SB Dunk Low, which was rumoured to be a friends and family exclusive release, has been the subject of much speculation. Sneaker blogger JF Grails (@jfgrails) unveiled a potential concept design based on insider details. Though not officially confirmed, the illustrated sneaker borrows design cues from the actual Powerpuff Girls footwear releases. So, this rendering is possibly a more credible representation of what a Mojo Jojo Nike SB design might look like.

The sneaker makes use of the villain’s purple, black and green colour scheme with a pair of glaring eyes stitched onto the heel tab and his mischievous grin featured on the left heel counter.

Inspired by rumours about a fourth colourway in the Powerpuff Girls x Nike SB collaboration, Nice Kicks (@nicekicks) also imagined a design featuring the infamous cartoon network villain.

The sneakers offer a mix of crisp white leather, purple suede, and pink and green highlights, reflecting the character’s aesthetic. Not to leave out the purple stitching on the white collar that nods to Mojo Jojo’s headgear.

Plugged Inn’s (@pluggedinn.io) design has also been met with much fanfare. This colourway embraces all of Mojo Jojo’s trademark shades (purple, white, green and even a touch of blue).

Mojo Jojo x Nike SB Dunk Low Custom Designs

Of course, there are also plenty of custom concept designs for the Mojo Jojo Nike SB Dunk Low. Notably, sneaker artist Andrew Chiou (@andu.c) crafted a pair that perfectly brings the villain to life in sneaker form.

The design features various colours and details reminiscent of his look, including nods to his signature green skin colour, black fur and white and purple helmet.

John Trottier Custom

Custom sneaker artist John Trottier (@johnnyskicks_) also added his take on a Mojo Jojo-inspired sneaker. His design features a green suede base overlaid with a hairy black fabric. Plus, the monkey’s cheeky grin takes over the heel of the sneaker.

Of course, all these designs are based on speculation and rumours. But as the saying goes, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” Nike hasn’t confirmed (or denied) a potential collaboration in the pipeline.

Still, as fans, we would be more than happy to see any of these sneaker designs become a reality. Maybe with some gentle nudging, Nike SB might mull over a future Mojo Jojo release. There’s unmistakable fan interest, so it’s far too early to dismiss this possibility.

Which of these Mojo Jojo Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers would you like to see Nike launch?
