Although many people anticipated the release of Travis Scott’s “Shy Pink” Air Jordan 1 colourway in 2025 (rep companies had even begun to produce replicas), the official release of both the pink and sail colourway and its “Dark Pony” counterpart was sadly cancelled. But for those who are still dead set on a ‘Shy Pink’ pair, custom sneaker artist Yuang Louis @louis_yuang has created his own distinctive take on the colourway to pique fans’ interest.
Unlike the original design, which sees the AJ1 Low dressed in a smooth “Shy Pink” suede base complemented by “Sail”overlays, this sneaker uses inverse colour blocking.
The base of the sneaker is covered in white, while pink takes over the overlays. And did we mention the entire upper is covered from heel to toe in translucent crystals that look like tiny water drops reflecting light? It certainly takes a more upscale approach to Travis Scott’s usual aesthetic.
Finally, the pair sits atop a sail midsole and pink rubber outsole to finish off this dazzling look.
