Just picture it—the colossal names of Travis Scott and McDonald’s coexisting in a thrilling collaboration for a one-of-a-kind, limited-edition sneaker. It’s bound to cause Supersized excitement! Let’s take a look at the Travis Scott X McDonald’s Jordan 6 “I’m Lovin’ it” kicks.

Travis Scott And Mcdonald’s

Since the day Travis Scott embarked on his partnership journey with McDonald’s, we’ve been flooded with a series of custom and concept sneaker designs inspired by this joint venture of the music and fast food industry. And who can blame sneaker artists? The idea of capturing these two iconic names (or three in this case) in a pair of sneakers is quite compelling.

Considering the rapper’s current influence in the sneaker domain and the buzz generated from his McDonald’s and Cactus Jack merchandise, it’s no surprise that fans are craving some truly tasty sneaker creations to step into. However, a concept that has repeatedly caught our attention is the Travis Scott X McDonald’s Jordan 6 “I’m Lovin’ It”, a fantastic creation by Jordan My Concepts @jordanmyconcepts.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker Design

At the heart of the design is the familiar McDonald’s fries packaging, a small, simple red and yellow box that I’m sure we’re all very familiar with.

Running from the toe all the way to the heel, the upper of the shoe is covered in plush red suede, which, by itself, would be enough to make any sneakerhead sit up and take notice. But there’s so much more to this design that is added to perfectly emphasize its theme.

Take the tongue of the shoe, for example. It is a departure from the vibrant red suede and features a unique textured black canvas. This clever detail offers a nice visual touch and a satisfying textural element to the shoe. May I add that it even matches perfectly with the little fry/stash pocket found on the side of these kicks? Realistically, though, I wouldn’t advise stuffing your chips in there—it’s a little too close to the ground and one’s feet, for that matter! But, it’s the perfect place to squirrel away other stuff—I’ll let your imagination take it from here.

Moving on, thoughtful pops of yellow are worked into the shoe, adorning the laces, inner linings, and the embroidered “Nike Air” tag on the heel. There’s even a little callback to the golden arches, placed just under the stash pocket, giving an extra nod to the McDonald’s theme.

You might naturally expect to see the Cactus Jack markings on this collaborative piece. However, the image doesn’t provide a glimpse of this signature detail. What we do see, though, is a hangtag showcasing the merging of the McDonald’s and Cactus Jack logos at the centre.

The shoe rounds off with a striking black midsole featuring mustard yellow and white accents beneath. These colours are drawn from the stripes that adorn the inside of the McDonald’s chip box. It is a subtle yet effective nod to that little detail without being too literal.

Overall, the sneaker presents a tasteful homage to the iconic fast-food chain, but it definitely represents McDees more than it does La Flame.

Are The Sneakers Available For Purchase?

Unfortunately for us all, these show-stopping Travis Scott X McDonald’s Jordan 6 “I’m Lovin’ It” sneakers are not a part of the swag available from the union of these two powerhouses. Nor is there any chatter about a potential sneaker release for the future (with or without the Air Jordan 6 model).

Nevertheless, snatching up a pair isn’t entirely impossible. You could still contact the designer (@jordanmyconcepts) directly and request permission to craft a custom pair for yourself. And in the meantime, you can browse through our list of the best Air Jordan 6 sneakers to find your next dream pair and remember to follow us at Sneaker Fortress for more custom sneakers and concepts inspired by your favourite collabs.
