The spooky season is slowly creeping up, and while Nike’s Halloween lineup for 2024 is yet to unfold, aside from an impressive pair of spider-themed Dunk Lows reminiscent of Spider-Man’s black symbiote suit, custom sneaker artist John Trottier has set the stage for spooktacular festivities with his latest masterpiece: the Union x Bephies Beauty Supply Air Jordan 1 “Freddy”.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

From the name itself, it’s clear that this concept ingeniously combines the eerie appeal of Nike’s infamous “Freddy Krueger” Nike SB Dunk Low (more on which you can read about here) with the stylish Union and BBS collaboration with Jordan Brand from last year. The result is an almost flawless blend of these two unforgettable designs.

The sneaker boasts the same striped sweater pattern on its base as seen on the Freddy Nike Dunks, as well as the metallic silver Swooshes and red-splattered brown leather overlays that have become synonymous with the pair. These elements convincingly homage the iconic outfit and bladed gloves of the menacing villain from Nightmare on Elm Street.

Adding to these details are Union and BBS’s intricate woven pattern that wraps seamlessly around the entire shoe, providing a slashed and stitched effect that enhances the horror-inspired theme.

Completing the look is a sail midsole and black rubber outsole, again tipping a hat to the Freddy Nike SB Dunk Lows. Although the look leans heavily towards Freddy, the amalgamation of Union x BBS elements culminates in what would be an extremely unforgettable Halloween-themed sneaker.

Is The UNION x Bephies Beauty Supply Air Jordan 1 “Freddy” Available For Purchase?

Unfortunately, this hauntingly beautiful creation is merely a concept. However, if you’re keen on a personalised one-of-one piece, you can reach out to John Trottier through his Instagram page.

In the meantime, be sure to explore more UNION-inspired customs and concepts on our page, such as the low-top Air Jordan 1 “Storm Blue” and the “Storm Blue” Jordan Jumpman Jack design. And remember to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for more creative customs and concepts.
