Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Bred” might look just like every other Bred Jordan release, but sneakerheads and Jordan Brand are calling it “special”. Why? Well, aside from the fact that they’re limited to just 10,000 pairs (according to some sources), this new release is supposed to pay homage to the OG 1985 design, meaning this retro release is a near-perfect reconstruction of Michael Jordan’s iconic first signature sneaker. When you couple that with the fact that it won’t be sold via Nike’s SNKRS and only in select stores around the world (for a retail price of $250), you can understand why the release of the Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Bred” might be the biggest sneaker moment of 2025. Here’s every store that will be selling the Air Jordan 1 High ’85.
Set to release on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025, the Air Jordan 1 High 85 “Bred” won’t be easy to come by. Thankfully, there is now a full list of retailers that will offer the sneakers in stores. But it’s a very short list.
If you’re in North America, 23 top-tier stores are participating, including favorites like A Ma Manière (Houston, Atlanta, DC), UNDFTD (Los Angeles, Vegas, NYC), and Trophy Room (Orlando). Canada isn’t left out, with Capsule and Better Gift Shop representing Toronto.
Across the pond in Europe, hotspots include BSTN in Germany, Patta in the Netherlands, and END. in the UK. France boasts multiple locations, including Kith Paris and Shinzo. Moving further afield, sneaker boutiques like Kasina in South Korea, Titan in the Philippines, and Lemkus and Shelflife in South Africa (the only two African locations) have made the list.

So what do you get for your $250? The “Bred”—short for “black and red”—colorway stays true to the OG with premium leather, a high-cut silhouette, and subtle updates like a padded collar for better comfort. The sneakers even come with the original-style pamphlet detailing the shoe’s specs—a nod to the nostalgia.
If you’ve been waiting since the 2016 “Banned” retro for a proper “Bred” update, this is your chance. But don’t sleep on it. We don’t know when we’ll get another pair like this again.
