10 Sneakers Nobody Cares About In 2025 Anymore

The once-hyped kicks that dominated shelves and Instagram feeds are now collecting dust in 2025. Here are the sneakers nobody’s talking about anymore.

Sneaker trends are fickle. Models can sell like hotcakes one minute, then collect dust on shelves the next. Although the latter isn’t a bad thing for true fans of said styles (those who will be able to scoop up pairs at discounted prices), it’s a sign that the hype has died down and people have moved on to the next big thing in the sneaker world. At the end of the day, we believe in wearing whatever you like, regardless of whether it is still trendy, but these are the ten sneakers that no one cares about in 2025.

adidas Yeezy

Let’s face it: there was no coming back after adidas and Ye’s feud. You can’t sell a sneaker without the proper endorsement from the face of the brand. You really don’t see anyone wearing or talking about the shoes anymore, and if you do want a pair, they’re selling for a steal on resale sites these days.

Air Force 1

Listing Nike’s AF1 silhouette on a roundup of sneakers that “nobody cares about” seems sacrilegious, yet it’s a model that sneakerheads have been reaching for less in 2025. Nike has even scaled back production because these kicks aren’t moving as quickly as they used to. Having said that, we’ll always consider these a classic.

Air Jordan 1 High

The popularity of the Jordan 1 Highs has ebbed and flowed over the years, but they always seem to bounce back. Of course, this happens to be one of the slower periods for MJ’s first signature shoe. You know the model has lost its shine when hyped pairs like the “UNC Reimagined” and “Shattered Backboard” have been sitting. However, that just makes it easier for true fans of the silhouette and its many iconic colourways to grab a pair.

Balenciaga Triple S

Depending on who you listen to, the chunky “dad shoe” style is on its way out. This essentially means that the Balenciaga Triple S, the crowned king of that shoe trend, won’t be selling out as fast anymore. Though with a $ 1,290 USD price tag, we’re questioning how anyone but the rich and famous were affording these.

Converse All-Star Low-Top

While the high-top Converse All-Star has been enjoying a French Girl summer, its low-top counterpart isn’t quite having its moment in the sun this 2025. With more streamlined low-top styles like the adidas Samba and Puma Speedcat dominating the scene at the moment, the Converse All-Star low-top just isn’t what the fashion crowd is reaching for.

Golden Goose Super Star

It’s hard to believe that a pair of dirty, distressed sneakers could be so sought after, but the Golden Goose Super Star was a must-have in a not-so-distant past. Surprisingly, we haven’t seen this design as often on the streets (or on celebrities’ feet) lately.

New Balance 550s

There was a time when sneakerheads couldn’t get enough of the New Balance 550s. But trends do what trends do, and the model seems to have taken a backseat to other, more hyped silhouettes this year. While the hype has died down, the silhouette is still as comfy as it’s always been.

Nike Dunk

The Swoosh Label mass-produced the once-popular Nike Dunk silhouette in every colour, material, and theme imaginable. But oversaturating the market is bound to lead to a decline in demand. Unfortunately, this happened to the Nike Dunk. Even the beloved Pandas aren’t selling as well as they once did.

Prada America’s Cup

With high-end buyers shifting away from shoes with flashy logos and instantly identifiable designs, Prada’s America’s Cup sneaker isn’t getting the attention it once did. And, at $860 USD, the model may have priced itself out of the market for many potential customers.

adidas Ultraboost

Hype for the adidas Ultraboost seems to have died down a long time ago, but there has been even less buzz surrounding them in 2025. With more comfy offerings popping up in the market, the Ultraboost just doesn’t stand out like it used to.
