Every year, Jordan Brand unveils a series of sneaker designs tied to the streetball tournaments they sponsor. Sneakerheads have already been treated to an official look at the stylish pair created for the Quai 54 streetball tournament in Paris. Now, the first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan” crafted for the Beijing competition has also emerged.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
In contrast to the bold black and yellow “Quai 54” AJ1 Low, the “Dongdan” design boasts an understated blend of Oatmeal and Coconut Milk.
Jordan Brand used smooth white leather to cover most of the upper but accentuated the toe box and heel in light beige suede. The Swooshes are then dressed in a darker tan suede, while a sail midsole and semi-translucent gum rubber outsole complete the look below.
Aside from the colourway, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan” also has some unique embellishments throughout, including the tournament’s logo on the tongue of the right shoe, an embroidered graphic on the heel, and the words “IN ONE’S ELEMENT” on the inner tongue.
It’s undoubtedly a refined version of the AJ1 Low and another design to include on our list of must-have releases for 2025.
