With part of 2025’s Lunar New Year collection already unveiled, the anticipation for Jordan Brand’s “Year of the Snake”releases is certainly mounting. From Jason Tatum’s third signature shoe to Michael Jordan’s iconic 11s, there is no shortage of sleek silhouettes receiving the Lunar New Year treatment. And, naturally, the celebrations wouldn’t be complete without the legendary Air Jordan 1 Low, which you can be sure will be dressed to impress for next year’s theme.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

Although official images of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake” are yet to be released, its colour palette—”Summit White,” “Photon Dust,” and “Barely Green”—has sparked some imaginative speculation.

The folks at House of Heat, for instance, have already envisioned how the design might come together with luxurious textures and materials, including a reptile skin-inspired pattern.

Yet, it’s important to remember that these mockups are purely speculative. The final application of colours and choice of materials still remain under wraps. However, we’re hopeful that the real deal will be even more distinctive and stunning than the current imaginations (fingers crossed).

Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake” Release Details

Expect to see official images of this snake-inspired AJ1 as we creep closer to the anticipated release date in Spring 2025. You will be able to grab a pair from Nike SNKRS US for approximately $160 USD in men’s sizes.

While we await more concrete information and, of course, some stunning pics, why not explore other exciting Air Jordan releases planned for next year? 2025 promises to keep sneakerheads busy and their bank accounts a bit lighter, with drops like the Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline”, Air Jordan 6 “White/Fire Red”, and the Air Jordan 4 SP “Firewood Orange” all set for the year.
