When And Where To Buy The Air Jordan 12 “Phantom”

When you look at the long list of stunning sneakers the Jordan Brand has prepared for this festive season, it’s evident that they aim to wow us with a blend of classic designs, distinctive colourways, and remarkable materials. The brand has curated an exceptional range of footwear that could give previous year’s releases a run for their money. But if I have my eye on any pair, it would have to be the Air Jordan 12 “Phantom” simply for all the promise this sneaker’s design holds.

What can we expect from the Air Jordan 12 “Phantom”?

As you have probably guessed, the Air Jordan 12 “Phantom” is one of the many sneaker offerings that still does not have any actual images attached to them. However, thanks to sneaker insiders @zsneakerheads, we are provided with a preview of the colour scheme and mockup images to pique our curiosity.

The “Phantom” colourway is set to present a blend of “Phantom,” “Metallic Gold,” and “White.” Although this colour combination may seem understated at first glance, it is quite the stylish yet elegant colour option. This is especially true if the brand chooses to play around with exquisite textures, as we’ve seen in previous AJ 12 releases. Perhaps something akin to the suede hints on 2023’s A Ma Maniére version or even the velvet-covered upper of 2017’s “Dark Grey” release).

However, sticking with the silhouettes traditional materials, the speculative images we have in hand reveal the upper in a clean “White” tumbled leather, proudly displaying its iconic sunrise-esque stitching. This is complemented by a perfectly matching “White” mudguard. In fact, apart from the shining “Metallic Gold” eyelets and the tasteful “Jumpman” overlay, as well as the “Phantom” coloured inner lining, the entire upper is blanketed in a crisp white hue.

Finishing off the look are the white midsole and matching rubber outsole, which bring the sneaker a crisp, clean finish. However, the sole unit is not without its own unique touch, featuring a “Metallic Gold” Jumpan logo peeking out from underneath. Certainly, this potential colour blocking offers a beautiful look to the classic Tinker Hatfield design.

That said, we’re currently operating in the dark regarding the specific features of the upcoming colourway. So, it’s entirely possible that the final product may differ significantly from the speculative designs. We’re simply going to have to bide our time and await those definitive images. Personally, I’m holding out hope for a finish in velvety suede, but let’s wait and see.

But regardless of the final design, it’s hard to imagine the Jordan Brand failing to impress with these colours on the AJ 12 model. Honestly speaking, I don’t know how our bank accounts will make it through to January unscathed, given how promising all these holiday sneakers are looking.

When and Where to Buy the Air Jordan 12 “Phantom”

Set to make a grand entrance on 2nd December through Nike.com and several selected Jordan retailers, the Air Jordan 12 “Phantom” will be yours to grab at a retail price of $200 USD. These sneakers will be available in women’s sizes, offering yet another stylish option for women to snatch up this holiday season in 2024. So, if you are keen on seeing official images, be sure to check back soon.
