Every year, Jordan Brand goes after releases based on holidays, like Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. Now, Father’s Day just got its official RSVP, too. Slated to drop in Summer 2026, the Air Jordan 3 “World’s Best Dad” is the latest themed release from the Jumpman camp. And while the idea of a sneaker celebrating dads might sound like it’s meant for backyard barbeques and dad jeans, the execution here is surprisingly clean and interesting.
The colorway blends Sail, Black, University Red, Pale Ivory, and Palomino, which, translated from Jordan Brand speak, means earthy tones. It leans into that grown-man style without feeling like it’s stuck in a time capsule. Think “cool dad” energy, not “tells-dad-jokes” vibes.
Jordan Brand isn’t just slapping new colours on a classic silhouette and calling it a day. You’re getting Sail leather uppers, Palomino elephant print wrapping the toe and heel, and University Red accents hitting the Jumpman on the tongue, outsole, and eyelets. A Gold top eyelet adds that little flex for the dads who still know how to stunt on the school run.
But the most sentimental part of this sneaker is the inside of the tongue. Hidden beneath the laces is the phrase “World’s Best”, giving it that personal touch, like your kid scribbled it on a mug, but this time it’s wearable. Oh, and the pair even comes with a Father’s Day card.

So what’s the vibe online? Mixed, to say the least. Over on Instagram, one sneakerhead kept it blunt: “Nah man.” Another admitted, “Love the premise, not a fan of the colorway.” But fans of earthy palettes are into it. “I like the Mocha vibes on this,” one wrote. Another chimed in with “I ain’t a dad but I’m rocking these.” And then there was the guy who threw some light shade: “These low key 🔥. I see a lot of y’all can’t dress.”
The Air Jordan 3 “World’s Best Dad” drops Summer 2026 at select retailers and Nike.com. No word on pricing yet, but expect the usual Jordan 3 retail bracket.
